Today, I have got a really interesting product review for you all. It’s a Banana Boat Ultra Protect Sunscreen Continuous Spray. Spray sunscreens are not very well accepted in India, but with Vaseline coming up with a spray lotion, it will certainly change the game. Sunscreen sprays are not readily available here as well so not many people have got there hands on it. So without further ado, let’s get into the review.
Banana Boat Ultra Protect Sunscreen Continuous Spray SPF50 PA++++. AvoTriplex UVA/UVB Protection
Sun-Tested, Sun-Proven. Invisible Clear Spray. Ultra-Lightweight Feel. Very Water Resistant. Fast and Easy Coverage. Quick Drying. Banana Boat Ultra Protect Sunscreen Continuous Spray with Avotriplex technology goes on easily to provide UVA/UVB sunscreen protection from sunburn and damaging UV rays in a sheer feel spray that’s proven in the sun to be long lasting and effective when used as directed. It’s also blended with Aloe and vitamins C and E.
My Experience with Banana Boat Ultra Protect Sunscreen Continuous Spray SPF 50:
It comes in a aluminium can very similar to deodorant cans. There is a blue spray nozzle which is lockable when you twist it sideways. As it is mentioned in the name, the nozzle lets you spray it continuously unlike perfumes or mist where you have to press every time you spray. Brand name and all necessary information is printed on the can itself in different colours. I’d say packaging is travel friendly.
I have used DHC sunscreen spray with SPF 50+ earlier, so I could easily compare the two products. Talking about the texture first, it is completely non oily and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. Nozzle is very efficient and covers major part of the body without hassle.
As they suggest, I apply it 20 minutes before stepping out in the sun. I was searching for a good sunscreen when I came across Banana Boat because majorly sunscreens are very oily and it feels like an added layer on to the skin, that’s why I never use sunscreen lotions, rather I try to cover my body with scarf or appropriate clothing instead of layering up sunscreens. I came across this sunscreen on my recent trip, so picked it up without second thoughts.
It has SPF 50 which is said to be optimal for summers or beach days. I use this one for my swimming sessions and it works pretty well. I have been using this daily for about a couple of weeks now and there is no sign of tanning so far. Banana Boat is known for its exceptional sunscreen products worldwide so I knew I could not go wrong with this one. Even after swimming it stays intact because it does not layer up, gets absorbed into the skin. Application is so smooth and easy. Just spray all over your exposed areas and you are good to go. This is a 100 ml can and I am yet to fully use this can, will last for about a month if you use it daily.
I would definitely recommend this to all those who swim or stay under the sun for longer durations. Banana boat has a lot of options for different requirements.
