Banjaras Papaya Fairness Cream Review

Hey Everyone,
I got a few stuff from Banjaras Herbals as they have become very popular in my city recently, and I was impressed by most of its aspects. This product is also a fairness cream from the same brand with Papaya extracts. I previously reviewed the Saffron fairness cream and got mixed emotions with that one. Let us see how this one fared.

Price: 45 INR for 25 g

Shelf Life: 2 years

Product Claims, Key Ingredients And How To Use:

My Take On Banjaras Papaya Fairness Cream:

The product comes in a white tube with a screw cap, along with the pictures of papaya. It is sturdy and travel friendly. I got both the saffron and the papaya variants to compare how they would work on me. I must say I am happier with the saffron one than the papaya one. The product claims and the benefits are given in detail. It claims to ‘enhance’ the natural fairness of skin, and not to miraculously make it fairer. On that part too I haven’t seen any enhancing effects as of now.

The cream is white in color and has a pleasant fragrance which is not irksome. The aroma lingers on for a while and then fades away. It gets absorbed easily after rubbing it gently. It does not make my skin sweat, but it does not do anything to control the sweat either.
The texture is smooth and lightweight and not at all greasy, thanks to the glycerin. It did not cause break outs at all, neither did it enhance my oiliness. Oily skinned beauties may love this cream.

This cream does not have any sun protection, so I would advise using it with a sunscreen. But I do not like to layer up on lotions in these hot summers, it just makes me more uncomfortable.

Texture wise this variant is slightly heavier than the saffron one. The saffron one felt almost invisible when applied, while this one reminds me of its presence. This one also claims to have anti-ageing properties that will reduce fine lines. Also I haven’t noticed any evening of skin tone, or fading of dark spots as of now. Prolonged usage may show results. As of now I will use this as a night cream or just pass this on to my mom.

Pros Of Banjaras Papaya Fairness Cream:

• Convenient packaging.
• Very decently priced.
• Feels light-weight on skin but slightly heavy.
• It gets absorbed easily.
• It does not make my skin sweat.
• Herbal product.
• Does not cause break outs, and did not enhance the oiliness either.
• Fragrance though not mild, does not linger for long.

Cons Of Banjaras Papaya Fairness Cream:

• Did not induce any glow post usage.
• I haven’t noticed any enhancing of my fairness as of now.
• This product will show results only with prolonged use, and not immediately.
• Does not have sun protection.
• Only key ingredients are mentioned, would have preferred the whole of it!
• as I haven’t noticed any spots lightening or my tan going away.

IMBB Rating: 3/5

Would I Recommend /Re-Purchase Banjaras Papaya Fairness Cream ?
This would work when used for a long time, but I don’t think I’d recommend it as I liked the saffron variant better. I will be passing this on to my mom hoping maybe it would work for her: D Well, there are other good creams out there, but the ‘fairness’ part is never true believe me! 😀
