Banjara’s Rose Water Review

Banjara’s Rose Water Review

Hello IMBB Gang!!

Hope you are getting through in a cool way in this hot weather!  Nowadays, the sun is scorching hot and the temperatures are steadily rising.  In such a harsh climatic condition, there are certain things which would help you and your skin feel better.  One such thing which I personally prefer for my skin is rose water.  Today, I will be reviewing Banjara’s Rose Water.

Banjara's Rose Water Review

Banjara’s is a very popular brand here in South India, especially Hyderabad. You will see Banjara’s products in every grocery store and supermarket.  The availability of the products and the popularity in this area, attracted me towards this brand and I decided to give rose water a try because I am sceptical about experimenting with face packs and creams on my skin.

Product Description:

Banjara’s Rose water cleanses, moisturizes and tones the skin. It nourishes your skin and gives you the young and refreshing look.  It can be used along with a face pack and with glycerin.

Price:

55 INR for 200 ml.

Packaging:

The water comes in a big, pink-colored opaque bottle with a dark pink screw cap on top. The mouth of the bottle has one more small plastic cap with a hole which dispenses the rose water easily from the bottle, though this packaging is not at all travel friendly.

Shelf Life:

3 years.

My Experience with Banjara’s Rose Water:

I have combination-oily skin and I tried using everything to control the shine on my face without making it look dull and lifeless. I used Biotique Cucumber Water and had a horrible experience with that. It stings badly.  So, I was looking for something that could tone my skin without making it dull. I am also into the habit of splashing my face every now and then with water or wiping the face with wet tissues which helps in reducing the oiliness on my face and makes me look fresh, but again, this was not helping much. Then, I thought of using rose water.  Whenever I splash my face, I follow up the final splash taking a few drops of this rose water and I love the look and feel it gives to my skin. It smells fresh with the scent of roses. I now take a few drops of this rose water on a cotton ball every now and then and wipe my face gently every time I want to get that fresh look without any oiliness on my face.

After bathing, I use this on my arms and legs before applying body lotion to keep them hydrated day long. I have seen a visible difference in my skin now. I have been using this for almost 6 months now and carry it with me everywhere I go. Though the bottle is a bit heavy to carry, I transfer the water into a small bottle which is easy to carry in my bag.

Pros of Banjara’s Rose Water:

  • Nice refreshing smell.
  • This product smells of roses but the fragrance is not too strong.
  • Does what it claims.

Cons of Banjara’s Rose Water:

  • The packaging could have been more fancy and travel friendly, other than that, I do not find any other con.

Final Verdict:

I am head-over-heels in love with this rose water.  Earlier I used Dabur Gulabari Rose Freshner, but the effect was not that good. This is the best rose water I have ever used. Now, I do not need toners for my skin as this is a multi-purpose product for me.
