Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush Review
Hey Ladies,
I recently discovered that my mother has a kabuki brush from Bare Escentuals that she never used and probably won’t use. Of course, I grabbed it and called it mine 😛 I always wash any brush before using and I really suggest you to do so as well. You never know who and what touched the brush before you purchased it.
Price:
25-30$
First thing I did was to wash the brush with baby shampoo. I noticed that it was shedding. Not a lot, but not very little either. I would say medium shedding. I thought maybe after the first time, it will stop shedding, but I was wrong. When I was applying my face powder with this brush, I needed to remove the hair off of my cheeks.
I never tried out anything from this company before, but I heard that this company is considered a high-end brand. Just by looking at their prices, I assume that you get what you pay for. Almost all of their products such as foundation and brushes are very expensive.
I don’t have a kabuki brush except this one and that’s why I don’t know if the kabuki brush is supposed to be super soft or a little harsh. Do you know the answer? What will apply powder on the face flawlessly. A harsh kabuki or a soft kabuki brush?
This kabuki brush is very big. That to me is a positive thing because it will apply my powder on my face faster since it is a bigger brush.
Do I think it is worth the money?
No, I think that there are so many other kabuki brushes out there that are probably as good or even better than this brush. CrownBrush has cheaper brushes.
Pros of Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush:
- I like the size of this brush.
Cons of Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush:
- Very expensive.
- Not soft.
- Sheds all the time.

I don’t know if I have one that wasn’t well made or something, but I do not recommend this brush. You would just waste your money. Have a wonderful day!

I don’t have a kabuki brush either. Looking to buy one
Sounds good. i like that they are tiny but big at the same time and you can carry them everywhere with you
I have this brush as well, and yes mine sheds a lot too! It’s annoying but I usually end up using it for powdering my face to set foundation, it’s that dense and wide. Although mine isn’t as rough, it’s fairly soft to touch. I use the makeup forever kabuki for the true meaning of kabuki comes from that brush I feel.. This one although still in use, but not for contouring or even blush application, the bristles are dense but all over the place, not firm. I got this as part of the bare kit. 🙂 good points you brought up Sahar! Xoxo
maybe i should use a conditioner after i wash it. yes it works good to set the foundation with powder 🙂
thank youu hun!
