Bare Essentials Cleansing and Make-Up Remover Wipes Review

Bare Essentials Cleansing and Make-Up Remover Wipes

Hello All!

I was going through Jomol’s review of Bare Essentials Cleansing and Refreshing Wipes and I liked it. So, I looked it up in an online store and found that it had another variety, one specifically meant for removing makeup. I ordered it as I needed a makeup remover for when I was on the go. And this is how I liked Bare Essentials Cleansing and Make-Up Remover Wipes.

My Experience with Bare Essentials Cleansing and Make-Up Remover Wipes:

The wipes come in a white packaging, with a sticky patch of paper on the top, which can be peeled off to reveal a small hole from which the wipes can be taken out, and then the sticky paper can be used to seal the hole again, the usual way in which wipes are packaged. As you pull out a wipe, you feel that they are not overtly soaked in fluids, neither very dry. However, it tends to get dry very soon, once coming in contact with air. So, you’ll have to be quick with your make-up removal. Leave it around a couple of minutes, and the exposure to air will render it useless. Its smell reminds me of a Fa deodorant, I don’t remember the particular one but I suppose it was a blue bottle. Whatever it is, it smells very fresh and refreshing and will not irk your olfactory lobes. The smell gets less and less intense in air. The wipes are soft, not at all scratchy. I have acne prone skin and it did nothing to irritate my skin. In fact, it was very mild and gentle. It wipes away the make up pretty efficiently. It would take about one to four wipes to wipe off the makeup without leaving any trace, depending on the staying power of the product. For instance it will get rid of a lip gloss in one swipe and a transfer- resistant product, say an eye-liner in three or four swipes. The product you wouldn’t want to remove with these wipes would be mascara. I tried to remove mascara using these wipes. It did remove the mascara, but only after exerting considerable strain to my lashes. But of course, I’d use these wipes only when using a traditional makeup remover is not feasible, so, I’m good with it. These wipes can also be used to freshen up, as the wipes are non-drying and smell good. On, the whole, a great product to keep in your bag. I absolutely love it and you’ll love it too. Do get it.
