This will be a review of the bareMinerals Full Flawless Face Brush.
This plush, full-tapered brush delivers the ultimate complexion luxury when applied in broad sweeping strokes all-over the face for medium-to-full coverage with bareMinerals Foundation. The brush is made of goat hair.
To extend the life and beauty of your makeup brushes, cleanse brushes regularly with Well-Cared For Brush Conditioning Shampoo or a gentle shampoo or soap.
My Experience with bareMinerals Full Flawless Face Brush:
First, let me start off by saying I have been loving the bareMinerals products lately. The quality of these products are of the charts and even though they are very expensive, I feel they are definitely worth the price. Do check out the review of the bareminerals Original Foundation that I use with this brush.
When I first got this brush, I made a mistake of using it immediately. When doing so, I found the brush was very prickly and shed a lot. I could not understand why this was happening and was very disappointed that this was a total waste of money. After I did some research, I found out that my mistake was not washing the brush before using it. I immediately washed the brush with baby shampoo and the difference was remarkable. The brush bristles turned silky soft and the shedding reduced drastically. I am enjoying using this brush so much more now.
The brush is made out of natural hair, goat hair to be precise. Though natural bristles are not as smooth as synthetic ones. I feel they work a lot better in terms of picking up the product and giving more natural finish to the skin. The brush bristles are very dense and packed and can be comparably similar to a kabuki brush. It is tapered and sparse on the ends and fullest in the middle. Picks up a good amount of product in one go and buffs it on the skin very well. Though you will see a few shed hair after every use on your skin and clothes which can be difficult to remove and since the hair are a reddish yellow color, it can get very noticeable on the clothes.
It gives medium to full coverage and covers a decent amount of skin surface, so application of full face make up takes hardly 2 minutes. You will need to wash this brush often and it tends to collect quite a lot of product on it with a couple of uses. I even use this brush to buff on my mineral veil in my T zone. It gives a precise application for that too. The handle is very smooth but not slippery. It has matte finish handle and shiny chrome finish to the part which holds the bristles together which gives a very contrasted yet sophisticated look to the brush.
I don’t think this brush will last me a long time because of the amount of hair it keeps shedding, but for the time it does last, it’s worth it as it does give me a “flawless” face. Also, I did also notice the bristles are getting more and more separated and thus giving a wider look to the brush with every wash.
