Recently, when I did a review of Revlon Lip Butter, I uploaded a picture of mine with an orange blush and a lot of you asked what it was and wanted me to review it. Before talking about the product, I would like to thank everyone for your lovely comments.

My Take on Barry M Blusher in BL-5 Apricot:
Let me tell you the story of how I found this blush and all that jazz behind it. Before that, I want to talk a little bit about the brand “Barry M.” This is a UK-based drug store brand. The brand does awesome nail polishes and eye dusts very similar to MAC pigments. Some of them are in fact dupes and their nail varnishes and eye dusts are to die for; other than that, there is nothing really appealing. Well, I found this blush when I was at a Sunday market here in UK.
Sunday markets can be simply described as better versions of “chor bazaars” in India because things are much more organised and all sort of people like women, men and children come here, shop and relax. Sometimes, you may even find a MAC or Estee Lauder for £1 or 50 pence, so it’s a bargain village.
In one of my visits to Sunday market, I found this blush. I bought it for 50 pence, around 35 INR. Now, you guys tell me, how could I go wrong at such a cheap price. This blusher had been with me for a really long time, but I never really used it. Recently, after my obsession with the colour “orange,” I discovered this blusher in my collection and I was pleased with how it looked on my skin. Obviously, it’s not something which I would repurchase but I was good find.
Telling you about the colour of this blush, its extremely bright. Its like the “holi or rangoli” orange, but its a good orange blush and definitely worth a try!
Texture: Being a powder blush, its dry, powdery, a little bit chalky, but easily blendable and application is smooth without overtly drying.
Staying Power: It stays for 4 hours depending on your cheeks. I have dry skin, so I don’t get oily and the blush stays the way it’s applied for just 4 hours and if it’s a hot day, then 2 hours.
Packaging: Comes in a clear and black square container packaging, has no mirror, its cheap and tacky looking. I personally like pretty things, so I find this packaging quite annoying. The lid opens and closes easily and its quite sturdy, but the brush inside is just useless with rubbish plastic bristles, just waste of space.

Cons of Barry M Blusher in BL-5 Apricot:

Do I Recommend Barry M Blusher in BL-5 Apricot?
Yes, if you like to try out orange, bright, and intense blushes, then its an amazing orange to try out without spending too much money. Saying that, I would also want to add that this is really a tricky blush to pair up with other face makeup. Please make sure your face makeup is minimal because this emphasizes the cheeks and you shouldn’t be donning bright lips or dark smokey eye while you’re carrying something bright and intense on your face already. In my view, a bronzey eye makeup and nude lip would be perfect to pair up with this blush. In my Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Creme Brulee review, you can see me using the blush in a very intense way.
