The perfect 3-step kit to shape, define and highlight brows. With its mini double-ended applicator, handy tweezers and mirror, you’ll have everything you need to rival the catwalk. Plus its compact casing with how-to guide makes it perfect for popping in your bag for touch ups on the go!
I am seriously high on brows, any one on my FB page would know 😛 my brows are in bad shape which you will eventually see. I bought 5 kits in the past one year, and this is not the best one out of them. But being to Boots and missing out Barry M, sounded criminal, so I got this one. They have just one color surprisingly but this works for me thankfully. They come with a very usable double sided brush and an emergency tweezer good for pulling out stray hair only, not for a full on clean up session.
The reason I got this was the fact that this looked complete, with tweezer, brush, applicator the powder, and the creamy powder to use under the brow as a highlight, but the powder when applied with the brush provided, flies all over the eyes and is so chalky. It literally spoiled my day- but when I try to swatch with fingers and apply and then smooth it out under the brow, it works great. The powder is like a matte highlight but has some golden iridescent feel to it, to brighten the eyes. In fact during emergency, you could use this in the tear duct area to brighten up.
The box is cardboard and has a light magnetic closure to it. The brush fits in snugly but needs some effort to be pulled out. The wax is dark and it really stains the skin very well, which I like about it. I try to mix the wax and powder and then fill directly but if you do not need much filling in, you could just set your brows with the wax and a spoolie. Or you could set with wax and then fill powder. The brush is super useful and the mirror too.
The powder has lasted me for 6 plus hours on the brows, even without a clear mascara finishing. The highlight powder vanishes into nothingness in no time. Plus it is chalky as well. The wax and powder mixed together work the best for me. I think they could improvise on the shade range. This would not be good for light-haired girls, though for warm skin, this should work. Then they could improve on the powder too for highlight. The brown powder could be easily replaced with any deeper brown shadow that you own. Overall, I find some issues with this and still reach for my WetnWild brow kit more than this one.
