My Experience with Basicare Retractable Blusher Brush:
Retractable brushes are a boon for travel and storing purposes. I am not very good with brushes when it comes to storing them as I leave them around. So, the idea of a retractable brush fits for my case.
The brush comes in a metallic silver handle with a similar cap. The brush came inside a pouch which had to be cut open. The bristles are said to be made of goat hair, and I incline more towards artificial bristles. I don’t really fancy the idea of poking an animal’s hair around my face. The bristles are dense and full. They are not very soft and tend to poke a lot. The brush I got had the adhesive stuck around on a bunch of bristles and I couldn’t remove it to separate them. The bristles are of average quality, and some of the bristles are flaring away from the lot.
When the brush is touched to the blusher, it picks up the required amount and blends the color evenly with all the poking. The retraction mechanism is good; the inner tube has to be pulled up and it covers the bristles. The cap is to be shut and it becomes super convenient to take it around. I have washed it around 3 times, and once to remove the adhesive. I did not notice any such major fallout.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Basicare Retractable Blusher Brush?
I don’t think I’d recommend this unless it is solely for travel purpose because there are good substitutes out there.

I had used this few years ago and don’t have any good memories…
It looks like a pokey kind of brush. The bristles look so sharp! 🙁
