My Experience with Bath and Body Works A Thousand Wishes Body Lotion:

Packaging:

Very beautiful and festive bottle with red and pink colors which are my two favorite colors, hence I completely adore the bottle. It has a very nice push-top cap which opens the dispenser.

Consistency:

The lotion itself is a nice light pink color but it disappears once its spread on the skin.  It spreads smoothly and absorbs into the skin in a minute or two and leaves the skin feeling so soft and smooth immediately. My winter parched skin absolutely loves this and it will heal even the driest areas on my body which are the hands, elbows and knees. It does not feel too sticky or greasy once it is absorbed hence you will not find this annoyingly slippery if you were to use this as a hand crème too.

Fragrance:

Bath and Body Works are the pioneer of amazingly-scented products.  They have so many different variety of scents which will cater to every nose. I usually am not a fan of sweet fragrances hence I would have never chosen this particular scent for myself, but since it was a gift, I used it and the scent has grown on me. It is most definitely a very feminine scent.

It starts off as a very sweet and fruity fragrance (top notes) and within a few minutes mellows down to a beautiful yet still a sweet floral scent of peonies and freesia. It also has a hint of nuttiness in the scent which is in the background and never becomes overpowering. It stays smelling sweet throughout the wear time.

The scent lingers on the skin for a long time, usually 4-5 hours on me. The scent is so strong that you can easily skip your perfume if you are using this body lotion.  This may also be a con if you are using your own perfume, this scent may clash with it.

Overall, I do enjoy this product very much. It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated which is much needed in harsh winter months and leaves you smelling amazing. I will recommend this body lotion 🙂
