As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I do not leave a chance to pick up anything that smells vanilla, I got this body wash and the sugar scrub from the Aromatherapy Sensual range of Bath and Body Works. Read on to know how this fared for me.

Usage:
Add a drop to wet sponge and massage into lather. Rinse. For a bubbly bath, add a couple ounces to running water.
My Experience with Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sensual Black Currant Vanilla Body Wash and Foam Bath:
The packaging of the “Aromatherapy” range is different compared to the regular line of BBW body washes. These look like the mature, elder sister of the cool and funky regular line of the body washes from BBW. I quite like it, although a pump dispenser would have been definitely better. The transparent plastic bottle is sturdy enough, but the black plastic cap looks a bit flimsy, but looks like it wouldn’t break off, so no issues. It’s bulky, so I would not call this body wash travel friendly.
The texture of the body wash is thicker than regular washes, and it’s transparent. I need a little bit more of the product each time as it takes some effort to foam up otherwise. It lathers up well when used with a loofah. Also, this doubles up as a nice shaving foam, so I am happy with the multi-tasking product. Worth a mention is the non-drying effect on the skin, although it completely takes away grime and dirt off the skin.
The fragrance is a huge bonus to vanilla lovers like me. It smells absolutely awesome and I can sniff this baby all day long. If you are not fond of sweet vanilla smell, you should definitely stay away, as it might be a bit overpowering. The black currant note is again subdued, but as I like vanilla more, I am happy with it.
The fragrance stays on for good 2-3 hours, after which it fades away. When I apply the body cream from the same range, the fragrance stays for a very long time; almost as long as the body cream stays on me.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sensual Black Currant Vanilla Body Wash and Foam Bath:

- Awesome smell.
- Non-drying texture.
- Can be used for shaving as well.
- Fragrance lingers on for quite some time.
- Not tested on animals.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sensual Black Currant Vanilla Body Wash and Foam Bath:
- On the expensive side.
- Quantity required each time is more compared to regular body washes.
