Here I am with yet another product from Bath and Body Works. I am a self-confessed fan of their fragrances and I cannot resist picking up (read hauling) their products every now and then! I had mentioned their new Brazil collection in one of my earlier posts and today I bring to you a body cream from this collection “Fresh Brazil Citrus Ultra Shea Body Cream.”
$12.50 for 8 oz/ 226 gm, but Bath and Body Works products are typically on discount all year round.
Infused with luxuriously rich Shea Butter, our New Ultra Shea Body Cream provides 24 hours of nourishing moisture to soften even the driest skin. With soothing Aloe Butter, pampering Cocoa Butter and more Shea than ever before, our non-greasy formula melts into skin to provide beautiful fragrance and all day, all night hydration.
- Top Notes: Luscious Pineapple, Mango Nectar, Tangerine Fizz, Pomelo.
- Mid Notes: Tiare Bloom, Passion Flower, Peach Sorbet.
- Dry Notes: Sandalwood, Coconut Milk, White Musk.
Squeeze quarter-sized dollop into palm & massage into skin for our deep moisture.
This product comes in a squeezable tube packaging with a colorful picture of citrus fruits – tangerine and lemons and some tropical leaves. The print is very attractive and sure to make you gravitate towards the product. The tube is sturdy and the cap shuts tight. So, traveling with it should not be a problem.
My Experience with Bath and Body Works Brazil Citrus Ultra Shea Body Cream:
First up the fragrance – I was expecting this cream to smell all citrusy given its name and the imagery on the packaging. You see I bought it online and hence could not smell beforehand. However, I could only smell pineapple and coconut. Which on a side note is not too bad as it reminds me of my favorite drink – pinacolada 😛
The cream is thick in consistency. It is quite moisturizing and leaves my skin soft and supple even in dry winters. I guess it is the shea butter in the ingredients which does all the good work. I like that it gets absorbed easily and does not make your skin greasy.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Brazil Citrus Ultra Shea Body Cream:
- Moisturizes well.
- Non greasy.
- Attractive and sturdy packaging.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Brazil Citrus Ultra Shea Body Cream:
- The imagery on the packaging might mislead you to think it is citrusy. Though the coconut/pineapple smell itself might not be a con.

Yes, I would surely recommend you to try this product out. I prefer trying out new fragrances from Bath and Body Works, so don’t think I would repurchase.
