My Take on Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom Body Lotion:
Right now, this is my top favorite among Bath and Body Works scents. While I was shopping for Bath and Body Works products when their massive sale was on early this year, I learned that Cherry Blossom which is my favorite isn’t available here in Canada. It kind of made me sad, so I just gave other scents a try and I am glad I tried Cotton Blossom scent and loved it ever since.
Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom Body Lotion comes in a transparent bottle with silver cap on. Each bottle has 236 ml of product in it. Each bottle is sold at around $11, but I got mine for $4. I am happy with the sale, savings and the mini haul. The lotion itself is soft and creamy and is of white-bluish color. It is easy to apply on skin and is fast absorbing. It does not feel sticky or oily and it keeps my dry skin moisturized for 4 hours. I just wish that the moisturizing effect was longer than that.
Now, about the scent, it smells subtly sweet, feminine and fresh. It reminds me of spring time and kind of boosts my mood every time I use it. Though it reminds me of spring, I think that this kind of scent can be worn in all seasons. It’s winter here now and I enjoyed using this every day. It smells light and airy and can shake my blues away. I work during the night and this helps me keep awake and relaxed the whole night. The scent lingers in my room and it’s something that makes me happy. It lingers on my robe for a very long time. On my skin, the scent lingers for long hours. It mellows hour after hour, but it keeps my skin smelling fresh the entire day.
What I Like about Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom Body Lotion:
- Subtly sweet, feminine, fresh scent.
- The scent not over the top.
- Long-lasting scent.
- Scent lingers inside the room, keeps my room smelling lovely.
- Hydrates super dry areas.
- A bit expensive at $11, so get them on sale for $4 or less if you are luckier. Go and stock up during the sale month.
What I Do Not Like about Bath and Body Works Cotton Blossom Body Lotion:
- I wish it was more moisturizing.
Cotton Blossom is one pick-me-up scent I will always have in my collection. It is so lovely and my favourite. I wish to get two more bottles of this lotion on my next Bath and Body Works store visit while they are on sale.
