My Experience with Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Tea Aromatherapy Body Lotion:
It is no secret that I am attracted towards body products solely based on their fragrances. Of late, I was kind of put off/bored by the complicated layered fragrances. I really craved clean and fresh fragrances and have been totally gravitating towards fragrances like TBS Olive and BBW Eucalyptus Spearmint. I hope there would be some girls who would totally agree with me that, at times, you just want a simple clean fragrance that can totally lift up your mood.
Since I already had the Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint Body Cream, which I totally loved, I thought to go for another variant from the Eucalyptus Aromatherapy line.
The product comes in a bulky glass bottle. While I totally love the pump packaging and the way the bottle looks sitting on my shelf, I feel it is not at all travel friendly. Also, it’s a glass bottle, so we have to be careful where we store it as it is liable to break if not handled well.
The body lotion has a strong fragrance which I cannot define, to be frank. It has a eucalyptus floral note. The best way to define it would be that it is the “female” variant of the Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relief Body Lotion. 😛 I like the fragrance and feel that it really calms and soothes the senses. However, I still like the Eucalyptus Spearmint fragrance better, for the simple reason that it is more clean and balanced. The fragrance lasts for a decent amount of time and whenever you catch a whiff of it, you would feel relaxed.
Actually, to be frank, I am enjoying the Aromatherapy range of BBW much more than any of their regular signature scents. The lotion is decently moisturizing. I feel that if you use a body lotion after bath, your skin ceases to remain dry. All skin types then become similar to an extent and the skin feels soft. Still, if you have very dry skin, I recommend you use this lotion only for aromatherapy and go for a more heavy duty moisturizer otherwise.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Tea Aromatherapy Body Lotion:
• Great, relaxing fragrance.
• Gets absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy film.
• Decent moisturization.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus Tea Aromatherapy Body Lotion:
• Bulky glass bottle.
• Fragrance does not last the entire day.
• Availability in India.
I really like this product. However, when it comes to recommending it to others, I would say that the fragrance is rather subjective. Try to whiff it before purchasing.
