My take on Bath and Body Works Forever Sunshine Body Mist:

Starting with the packaging, the body mist comes in a transparent plastic bottle, with a cap that does not fit well. The bottle is travel friendly but totally plain; I wish it carried any detail about the product claims etc. Photographing the bottle is a total pain! Nothing makes it look attractive and clear in images. The spray pump works well, I wish the cap fitted well.

The body mist is to be sprayed on skin; though I have personally realised with experience that it stays a bit more when sprinkled on clothes rather than skin. However, moisturized skin carries it for longer time spans. I feel this is more of a winter fragrance as it has warm notes. It reminds me of Justin Bieber’s Someday perfume. The fragrance of this body mist does not stay more than 1-2 hours. When applied on skin, it lasts for 1.5 hour barely and when sprinkled on clothes, I can smell it for about 2 hours. The name is written in silver and is hard to catch in the camera eye.

Now coming to the notes of the fragrance; the top, middle and end notes are well defined on website and included in the description. I don’t have a strong nose and my sniffing sense is not that good too, so excuse me if I do not define the fragrance right. I can smell purely citric top notes like tangerine mixed with some other fruity smell. The middle notes are distinguishably floral. The base notes comprise of musk and vanilla and can clearly be identified. These notes last long in the perfume.

The body mist actually makes me feel very refreshed whenever I apply it. It gives a nice feel and refreshed sensation of both fruity and floral perfume around you. Only if the staying power had been good, this would have been a hit among bath & body works fragrance collection.

Recommendation & repurchase: No, there are better EDTs and mists available, though I liked the middle and base notes a lot but the staying power is a big disappointment.
