I have another product for you from Bath and Body Works today and from the “Frosted Winter Woods” range. This one is a fine fragrance mist that I had picked along with the body lotion and body cream. The reason I picked this mist was the fragrance. In the Bath and Body Works store, there are so many fragrances around that one tends to get overwhelmed by them and obviously picking up the dry notes of any fragrance is just as impossible. I will not give away the whole review here…so let us move on.
Lavishly splash or lightly spritz your favorite fragrance, either way you’ll fall in love at first mist! Our carefully crafted bottle and sophisticated pump delivers great coverage while conditioning aloe mist nourishes skin for the lightest, most refreshing way to fragrance!
Top Notes: Sparkling Orange, Italian Mandarin, Clove, Pimento Leaf
Mid Notes: Black Pepper, Pine Needles, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon Stick
Dry Notes: Velvety Fir Balsam, Cedarwood, Vanilla Bean
Key Fragrance Notes: A winter blend of frosted clementine, fresh cedarwood and vanilla bean.
Spritz over skin for a scent-sational way to fragrance all day!
USD 14.00 for 8 fl oz / 236 mL.
My Experience with Bath and Body Works Frosted Winter Woods Fine Fragrance Mist:
The Bath and Body Works Frosted Winter Woods Fine Fragrance Mist comes in the transparent standard cylindrical plastic bottle with a plastic cap. The bottle has a spray nozzle. The cap closes nicely but will come out when kept in a bag while traveling. The fragrance mist has the simplest packaging of all the products from the range. The bottle has images of snowflakes on it. For the holiday packaging, there is silver shimmer on the snowflakes which makes it perfect for Christmas 😀 Also, aren’t these little BBW motifs cute. They make the packing extra special and they do look like gifts. 😀 The mist is green in color but comes out colorless.
The fragrance is a fresh citrus scent which has some woody notes, which make it an appropriate winter scent. The top notes are fresh, crisp, and festive. And out of the three products that I have tried from this range, I could finally smell the clementine in this product, but this is less citrus than the body lotion and body cream. But after drying, the fragrance turns very sweet. It starts out citrus but that brightness fades giving way to very sweet smell.
This is the first fragrance mist that I have tried from Bath & Body Works and I am not too happy with it. 🙁 The staying power is not good. Though I know that, it is a fragrance mist and not a perfume, but still, I expected it to stay for a bit longer. It stayed on me for just a couple of hours.
Even on using it with the body cream/body lotion from the same range, the longevity of the fragrance is increased by just an hour or so.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Frosted Winter Woods Fine Fragrance Mist:
- Beautiful packaging.
- Sturdy bottle.
- Does not stain clothes.
- Cruelty free.
- Fresh citrus fragrance.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Frosted Winter Woods Fine Fragrance Mist:
- Poor staying power.
- Citrus fragrance fades into a very sweet one.
Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Frosted Winter Woods Fine Fragrance Mist?
I like the top notes in this range, but I am not very fond of the fragrance after it dries down. Also, the staying power of the product is too low. I might not repurchase this one but yes, would be trying out other fragrances from the brand for sure. 😀
