I hope you are enjoying the amazing festive season and belated Happy Diwali to one and all 😛 For me, this season has finally brought me some family time and some relaxing stay-at-home days and I love it. Coming back to today’s review, this is one product I can’t do without since the past two months. I have been using this on a weekly basis. I came across this product online while I was browsing through some shopping sites. This particular fragrance range from their signature collection has been the best-selling one, claims Bath and Body Works. Also, products from this brand are always worth trying out, hence I decided to give this a try, spending half of my pocket money 😛 . Read on to know more about this product.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Golden Sugar Scrub:

Starting with the packaging, this golden sugar scrub comes in a squeeze tube form with a flip open cover thus making it extremely travel – friendly unlike those bulky tub packaging. The tube has cherry blossoms drawn over it. The quantity that comes in it is quite a lot and can last for almost two months if used every day. Coming to its fragrance, the fragrance is just amazing which is mostly floral with slight hints of fruit but there is also a woody undertone which adds depth to it. The fragrance is long lasting and lingers on when used in combination with products in the same range (like the body lotions, shower gels etc.). The fragrance is mild enough and not very overpowering though I consider it to be quite a matured scent.

The feel and consistency of this scrub on the skin is awesome. Basically this scrub consists of an oily base having non-soluble sugar crystals in it. The sugar crystals are well polished hence abrasion of skin can be ruled out, though care needs to be taken as to not go overboard with scrubbing as it may damage skin. Post usage, skin feels very soft and satin smooth. I noticed it from the first usage itself. It leaves skin moisturized to a large extent. Even though I have extremely dry skin, this product fails to remind me about that. It also exfoliates skin very well and can be considered as a moderate one. Skin may feel oily for oily skinned beauties as there could be product residue but when rinsed well may not be a problem. It is a must to use it along with a shower gel or soap as this product does not lather up.
