My Experience with Bath and Body Works London Tulips and Raspberry Tea Shower Gel:

Packaging:  This shower gel comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a golden press cap. The packaging looks quite luxurious due to the lovely tulips overlay on the golden flower print. The press cap helps to dispense only required quantity of the product. The bottle is transparent and helps to display the content. The shower gel itself is a light lavender color.

Formula/Performance:  The consistency of the shower gel is not too thick and it lathers up very well (especially with a loofah). Hence, a small amount goes a long way.  It does not dry me out and leaves my skin clean and fresh. The presence of Shea butter and Vitamin E does help in retaining the moisture in the skin. It rinses off easily and does not leave behind any residues.

Fragrance: Now, I also possess the fragrance mist from the same range (which has been already reviewed here). And I like the mild yet refreshing floral + fruity smell of the mist. However, unfortunately the shower gel does not seem to smell as good as the fragrance mist. The shower gel has a very strong sweet raspberry smell which feels quite synthetic and artificial. I could not smell the tulips or any of the other notes mentioned on the packaging.

I would not say that it is a bad smell, just that the mist smells much better and natural.  The smell is not long lasting and continues to linger on my body for 1-2 hours before fading out.

  • Attractive and sturdy packaging.
  • Lathers well and will last long as not much product is needed.

Cons of Bath and Body Works London Tulips and Raspberry Tea Shower Gel:

  1. Nice review…Even I feel many of their shower gels doesn’t smell the same as their lotions/ mists..shower gels smell too synthetic..I can’t handle synthetic smells and stopped using their shower gels for the same reason.. I dont know what to do with left over shower gel bottles
