Winter is here! Time to dig out the warm and cozy fragrances from your cupboards!! I am a self-proclaimed Bath and Body Works addict; I have almost around 30 different fragrance mists in different sizes. Most of these have been reviewed already here, so I’m picking out the lesser known scents from BBW for my review. Today, my review is a tribute to my favourite scent in winters from BBW range – Love Love Love.
Love Love Love is a fruity, young and fun fragrance from Bath and Body Works. I noticed that my best friend from college had a travel sized mist on her bathroom shelf when we hung out at her place – and I loved how it smelled. I always sprayed it generously on my clothes every time I went to her place and would keep sniffing my sleeves even for the next one or two days to catch the faint fresh smell it left behind. This is how much I appreciated the warm, beautiful scent. Upon doing some research, I realized to my sadness that BBW does not carry this scent anymore – they keep making sad decisions like this 🙁 . Then I tried really hard to find it online, but the prices were way out of my poor-girl-budget. This was when God answered my prayers for being a good girl and I luckily found my beloved mist in a Mumbai store. I could’ve kissed the guy standing behind the counter.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Love Love Love Fine Fragrance Mist:
The first thing that attracted me about Love Love Love when I saw it at my friend’s place was its name. We are always taught about how packaging is the 5th ‘P’ of marketing to attract customers. This is totally true with all BBW products! I love carrying this mist with me everywhere, despite it’s bulky size. Showing it off to random women in the washroom, hoping that someone might ask about it (does anyone else do that?). I have had a couple of women asking me what the cute bottle was and that it smelled awesome. Once, in my college, a girl actually asked me if she could spritz it on herself. That was my proudest moment on earth.
To describe the scent – the first spritz of this mist is very heavy – slightly overwhelming as well. However, in a few seconds, the smell settles down into a fruity fragrance, which smells predominantly of strawberries, raspberries, a mild hint of vanilla and something chocolaty (though it isn’t really listed in the notes). You get the picture – this is a rich dark berry scent. I can smell this on my skin only for 2 hours, tops. However, on clothes, it lasts a whole day, just with 3-4 spritzes. I always use my body mists on my clothes and top it up once with 2 spritzes after lunch – this is the best way to apply a scent to ensure a delicious smelling you.
This scent is strictly for women who like people recognizing their scent, definitely not for folks that feel that one’s perfume is only for oneself. I, for one, love to proclaim to the world that I am a religious scent wearer, I love it when people notice what I wear. This is a gourmand scent – I feel like sniffing myself constantly and probably some day will drink it up like a mocktail. Love Love Love is a perfect scent to wear on special occasions and on girls’ night outs. I mostly avoid wearing this to office and formal settings, but this is a scent perfect for wearing to college or for hanging around aimlessly with your friends. Almost all my friends who know I am a BBW addict like this scent the most on me, as opposed to the rest of my BBW collection – I guess this scent works really well with my skin chemistry. I do Love Love Love it!
Bottomline, I would say this is a scent for women in their 20’s or early 30’s – not for noses sensitive to heavy flirty smells. It is pretty long lasting for a mist, I’ve had perfumes and EDT’s that fade away quicker than this mist.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Love Love Love Fine Fragrance Mist:
- Amazing berry-vanilla-chocolaty fragrance, without being too overwhelming.
- One of BBW’s longest lasting mists, staying power is better than many perfumes I’ve used.
- Sillage or projection power of the fragrance is optimal – neither too high nor very low; just the perfect amount.
- 3-4 spritzes in the morning and 1-2 in the middle of the day to top up will leave you smelling wonderful throughout the day.
- Huge quantity provided for Rs.625. Though I really like it, I’m sure I’ll go crazy by the time I manage finishing this.
- Smells even more awesome when mixed and matched with non-fruity fragrances like citrusy or spicy categories.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Love Love Love Fine Fragrance Mist:
- May not be appreciated by women who prefer light florals/citrusy scents. This is definitely a scent that appeals to the younger audience.
- Available online, but is quite overpriced.

I always have 2-3 bottles of these amazing bbw scents with me.. they are sooo great for daily wear.. and this one looks like a steal for me as i love strawberries, raspberries and vanilla.. always my preferred scents.. gonna try this 🙂
