I love Bath and Body Works fragrances and with numerous offers going on throughout the holiday season, it is difficult not to pick some stuff from their stores. 😉 So, today’s product is one of the many that I picked up from the Bath and Body Works on my recent visit to the store. 😉 I just loved the “Mad About You” body polish, so picking the shower gel from the same range was a no brainer. 😛 Let us get to the review straight away 🙂

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Mad About You Shower Gel:
Bath and Body Works Mad About You Shower Gel comes in the standard BBW bottle with a push top cap. The packaging is lovely with beautiful flowers on the bottle which makes it very attractive and there are no tensions about leakage when carrying in a bag, but the bottle is too huge and the range is available in travel size as well.
The fragrance is sweet and fruity and smells of black currants and strawberries in the shower. However, it dries up to a musky scent which is not very prominent and I am grateful for that as I am not a fan of musky fragrances. 😉 The floral notes are more powerful than musky ones.
While using this, my shower smells like heaven and yes, it does make me spend some extra minutes in there, but the smell dies down as soon you step out of the shower and stays on for just a couple of minutes more.
A dime-sized amount produces much lather and that is good enough for a single use. It does not strip my skin off moisture, instead leaves it soft and supple. It cleans my skin effectively and the fragrance does evokes my senses. 😉 But I would prefer such scent for a night-time shower as I feel that the fragrance is very sexy and may make someone “mad about you. :P” Though the shower gel does not dry out my skin, I always follow up with a moisturizer as I have a super duper dry skin.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Mad About You Shower Gel:

- Does not leave my skin dry and stretchy.
Cons of Bath and Body Works Mad About You Shower Gel:
- Contain SLS and silicones.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bath and Body Works Mad About You Shower Gel?
I have bought a couple of more fragrances from the brand which will take some time to finish. 😉 But I feel I will always come back to the Mad About You range as the fragrance is sure to make you go mad about it. 😛 If you are a fan of floral, musky fragrances, I would recommend you to try out this range for sure, it won’t disappoint you. 😀
