My Experience with Bath and Body Works Signature Collection A Thousand Wishes Shower Gel:

I wish for a lot more ‘A Thousand Wishes’ in my vanity for the promising packaging and scent it carries. The individual products have been equally impressive, just like this shower gel.

Packaging:
Like any other Bath & Body Works shower gel, this shower gel too comes in a mediocre size sturdy plastic bottle with a shiny rosy gold press-type cap. The packaging is easy to carry around. The transparent bottle allows you to view the transparent reddish pink colored gel. The press-type rose gold cap helps you dispense required amounts of the gel as and when required. The key fragrance notes specified live up to the claims and this festive and promising looking bottle is very attractive.

Fragrance:
If you are looking for a lovely floral scented shower gel then this bottle won’t disappoint you as it carries a fragrance that is a ‘must-indulge’ fragrance. The fragrance opens on a fresh, floral note and ends in a sweet, creamy note. The overall fragrance is not subtle but is definitely soft and feminine and has a tangled blend of floral and amber notes that is complicated and beautiful like a woman’s brain.

The not so mild scent will be appreciated by you only if you handle cloyingly sweet floral based fragrances. The scent can be best described as, “She is a bouquet of crystal peonies and purple freesia with a twist of sparkling champagne along with a scoop of gilded amber and almond crème, sugary enough to the sweet treat to your sweet tooth”

Consistency and staying power:
The gel is neither too runny nor too dense in its consistency. It is formulated in such a way that it provides rich lather immediately upon mixing with water and rubbing with loofah. The staying power of this scented gel can be made to last longer upon layering with the body lotion and fine fragrance mist from the same range. But, even otherwise, this gel leaves a sweet and lovely frosty scent lingering upon your senses after your shower.

Usage and overall performance:
Squeeze the desired quantity of the shower gel and use with loofah for best results. A very minimal quantity can provide rich and generous amount of lather for a rich, clean and luxurious shower experience. After using optimum quantity of gel that provides a rich floral shower experience, layer your soft skin with the body lotion and cream from the same range for better staying power and to smell fresh throughout the day.

This gel, for the generous lather it provides, would definitely last a month. This scented gel is ideal for evenings. The feminine, frosty, floral notes are more suited to add a fresh note to your winter days and dinner nights. The SA was not kidding when she said this is a fast moving range and loved by many. This floral candy is a sweet and a sensual treat for your senses.
