Recently I picked up body lotions and fragrance mists from Bath and Body Works. I used to be really into Bath and Body Works lotions a couple of years ago. I kind of strayed from them because most of the lotions I was getting wouldn’t last long. But during the ongoing sale, I couldn’t resist myself and ended up making a small haul. Let’s dig into the review.

The Bath and Body Works Cocktail Dress Fine Fragrance Mist comes in the standard plastic cylindrical transparent purple coloured bottle with the spray nozzle that works well. The packaging is sturdy and leak-proof. The bottle is very travel-friendly.

Top Notes: Crisp Pomegranate, Osmanthus, Sparkling Mandarin
Mid Notes: Peony Petals, Lily of the Valley, Juicy Pear
Dry Notes: Sleek Amber Wood, Skin Musk, Sheer Cedarwood
I would describe this fragrance as deep and sultry. If you’re not a fan of mature fragrances, then stay away from this. I’m a big fan of mature and classic fragrances; that’s why this one totally won my heart. Top notes are definitely of pomegranate with hints of mandarin adding a crisp touch to it, and there is a creamy musk fragrance which is not very prominent.
At the first sniff, you may find it too loud, but with time, it settles down to a sultry and deep aroma. Talking about its longevity and silage, this fragrance mist has average staying power of 2 to 3 hours, after which it completely fades away. I usually reapply fragrance mists a few times throughout the day, so this is not a major con for me.
The sillage is average and one can detect the smell only if the person is a little close. However, this is the case with most of the fragrance mists. Overall, I absolutely love this. I was sceptical at first but out of all of the new fragrances this one is the best. I would describe this as a very mysterious, exotic, seductive, sexy and confident scent.

This scent is amazing. I absolutely adore it. The packaging is GORGEOUS. B&BW’s new fragrances have been awesome. I really like this one; it smells similar to an expensive perfume. While it has a floral hint, the musk scent stands out. It’s definitely more of a mature scent. Highly recommended!!
