I am back with another review from BBW’s Aromatherapy range. I love their shower gels. I have tried all their fragrances in this range. Here’s how I liked the “Sleep” body wash.

Product Description and Ingredients

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Sleep Lavender Vanilla Body Wash and Foam Bath:

In comparison with the signature range, the aromatherapy has limited fragrances and is slightly more expensive, but has exceptional staying power and amazing packaging. The fragrances are Energy, Sleep, Stress Relief and Sensual. They are all unique and amazing in their own way. As to the advertised claim, I definitely feel the effects of each of the claims when I bathe and inhale the aroma.

Coming to Sleep (Lavender Vanilla), the packaging is a sleek transparent bottle with a black cap. The cap shuts firmly and there’s no leakage of any sort. The shower gel is foamy and lathers well. The actual fragrance is a soft, feminine smell which has more floral notes. It has hints of vanilla and a stronger lavender smell. When I use this, the entire bathroom fills up with this scent and inhaling deeply definitely helps to absorb it. The smell lingers on for 3+ hours even when used alone. I am sure that layering it on will make it last even longer.

As for its claims, it relaxes me deeply and I find it very calming to use. I always use it in the evenings or at night for a shower before sleeping and while it doesn’t induce sleep, it makes me feel very relaxed and light. This is my third bottle of sleep and the only one I use for an evening bath.

I really love this entire range and this is a really good fragrance. BBW knows their fragrance well and their product line never disappoints. This is a good pick that will be liked by people who like a delicate, floral fragrances. I have seen the prices for this range drop as much as $3-$8. That is a bargain for this and a good way to try these.
