My Experience with Bath and Body Works Sonoma Weekend Escape Fragrance Mist:

Packaging: The fragrance mist comes in the typical Bath and Body Works packaging of a sturdy transparent bottle with a nozzle spray. The nozzle is blue-teal in color and the packaging has a lovely peach and floral imprint on it. The packaging is fun and flirty and true to the theme of Napa Valley Wine Country. The bottle is transparent and that helps in knowing how much product is still remaining. I have the travel size bottle which is indeed convenient for traveling.

Fragrance:  This fragrance has to be my favorite from this collection. The initial whiff is quite fruity and I found it to be a mix of lemon and peach, and that is not too much to my liking. But as time passes, this fragrance settles down to something very earthy and mature which I absolutely love. I can smell vanilla, musk and a very woody note which I assume is oak. I feel that this is a fragrance which actually depicts the current transition between seasons – the top notes are light and flirty for summer and the dry notes are earthy for fall.

Performance:  As with other fragrance mists, the lasting power is not too long. And I typically spray it on my body as well as clothes to make it last longer. It tends to stay on my clothes longer than my body. You may try layering this with other products from the same fragrance line to make the scent last longer.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Sonoma Weekend Escape Fragrance Mist:

  • Nice mix of fruity and earthy notes.
  • Sturdy and attractive packaging.
  • Does not stain clothes.
  • Does not irritate the skin.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Sonoma Weekend Escape Fragrance Mist:

  • Poor staying power.

IMBB Rating:

4/5

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bath and Body Works Sonoma Weekend Escape Fragrance Mist?

Fragrances are a personal choice. But if you like your fragrances to dry down to musky, woody notes, you should try this out.  I would not repurchase as I like trying out newer fragrances.
