We all are much aware of the fact that Bath and Body Works products are not yet available through an official outlet in India yet online services provide a good platform to make the products reachable. I was gifted this body lotion when winters were just on in India.  Instagram was already flooded with luring pictures of the products from this theme “Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin.” Read on dear beauties to know if it was luring enough or not.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Lotion:

I was a little puzzled over the use of pumpkin in lotions. I had never heard of pumpkin being used in beauty products apart from its usage in making pumpkin pies.  When I first sniffed the product, I was reminded of the hazelnut and cinnamon coffee which my mother prepares in winters. It is a very sweet and spicy smell with a hint of cinnamon. Thankfully, I didn’t find any pumpkin smell.

The texture of the lotion is thick and light orangish in color.  It gets readily absorbed in the skin without leaving any greasy feeling. The fragrance lingers on the skin for a really long time.  I could smell it on me even the next morning. The moisturization it provides is also commendable. My skin has become softer and smoother than before. There is a satiny silk feeling immediately after you apply the lotion.

The moisture is held up for a good 10 hours or so, I can say that it does live up to the claim of 16 hours of moisturization, well almost!

The consistency of the lotion is more apt for autumn and spring, but not good enough for harsh winters.  Although, it can live up to expectation to the winters in Hyderabad. I am happy with the experience I had with BBW and I do look forward to try the other versions in their collection.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Lotion:

• Moisturizes really well, is non-greasy, light in feel.
• Keeps skin moisturized for a longer time, needs less re-applications.
• The fragrance of the lotion stays for a long time and can be built up by using other products from the same range.
• The dispenser works in a good way, there’s no wastage of the product.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Lotion:

• Availability is an issue, you can find it online.
• People with sensitive nose may or may not like the smell.
• A little pricey for the quantity provided.
