So, I am having a busy time lately, too many exams and a packed schedule. Finally, got some time on my hands, so decided to review this product today. It’s a foot soak from Bath and Body Works from the True Blue Spa range. I had earlier reviewed the hand cream and foot cream from the same range. So, I had bought this on sale, buy one get one free, I had hoarded a few products together. Now, I finally got the time to use it! Anyhow, let me proceed to the review.
This super-fizzy spa bath is like champagne for your feet. With rose and orange peel extract, moisturizing aloe, calming chamomile and comforting lavender, it’s the ultimate treatment for happy feet.
- As you relax your body, calming Chamomile and comforting Lavender help relax your mind.
- Relaxing herbal chamomile and lavender fragrance.
- Not tested on animals.
Directions For Use:
Fill your foot bath or tub with warm water and sprinkle in a handful of this effervescent foot soak. Immerse feet and soak to your heart’s content.
$15 for 11.5 oz or 326 gm, but BBW usually has sales at season ends.
Key ingredients are chamomile and lavender as mentioned.
It comes in a short, round plastic tub, with a white cap. It feels quite heavy and you can see the blue granules from outside the tub. It’s not very efficient to carry since it is pretty heavy, but you can take it out in other containers if you want to travel with it.
My Take on Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Effervescent Foot Soak:
Finally, coming to what I feel about the product, which is True Blue Spa effervescent foot soak “footloose and fancy fizz” with chamomile and lavender…phew! Long name! So, I tried it a few times when I had to walk around a lot, and after coming home, I just wanted to soak my feet in warm water. Since I have wide feet, most shoes are uncomfortable if I wear them for too for a long time.
I took a small tub of warm water and added a handful of this foot soak to the water, and expected it to fizz, but pretty much nothing happened. A few bubbles here and there, but nowhere near “super-fizzy” as described on the pack at all. Frankly, I was disappointed since I thought it would fizz and bubble, but oh well. The granules or crystals are a beautiful brilliant blue though, and which turned the water completely blue, so that was nice.
Then I soaked my feet in, and tiny bubbles formed around my feet, which was fun, and scrubbed slightly. Firstly, the smell is very pleasant and calming and just what you need after a long and tiring day. After a while, my feet felt really soft and nice to touch, and just much fresher than before, which was hardly expected after so much walking.
Overall, I think it was nice, and is great if you want to pamper yourself or give yourself pedicures at home. Otherwise, you may want to skip this one.
Pros of Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Effervescent Foot Soak:
- Really soothing smell, which calms you after a tiring day.
- Bubbles form around your feet which is fun.
- Quantity lasts a good while.
- Feet become really soft and smooth after soaking.
Cons of Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Effervescent Foot Soak:
- Not “super-fizzy” as described.
- Expensive at original price, but good on a sale.
Overall, I would give this a 3.5/5 because I really wanted it to fizz! If you are looking for a nice foot soak, you can give this a try.
