Today, I have a product from Bath and Body Works – Golden Sugar Scrub Twilight Woods. This product belongs to their Signature Collection. Twilight Woods is one of the best sellers and has an amazing fragrance to it. I own body butter, body lotion, shower gel and fragrance mist from the same line and I am totally in love with the way it smells.  So, with a lot of high hopes, I decided to pick the body scrub. Let’s jump into the review.

My Take on Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods Golden Sugar Scrub:

Twilight Woods is one of my most favorite fragrances from Bath and Body Works.  I keep repurchasing their body lotion and body butter, as it smells great and perfect for any season. I never tried body scrubs from BBW, so I decided to pick my first scrub from my favorite line. Summers are finally here and it’s time to pamper the skin and scrub away the dead and dry skin from winters.  Before talking more about the product, I would like to make a point here that this scrub is mainly made up of chunky sugar crystals, almond oil and some fragrance.

This product comes in a pretty squeeze tube. I wish it came in a tub, as it gets difficult to squeeze the product out when the sugar crystals start to get a little dry.  At the first look, you can notice that the texture of this scrub is very grainy as it is mainly made up of chunky sugar crystals. It acts as a good exfoliate and helps to get rid of dead skin, but it certainly cannot be used on the entire body as it takes a lot of time to scrub it on the skin and also just using this product to clean your body isn’t enough as it doesn’t produce any lather and doesn’t seem to give you a fresh clean skin. This product leaves the skin feeling smooth, but oily, so I either use this product to exfoliate first and then wash my skin with other lathering body wash or vice versa. This is a tricky product and not suitable to use just by itself.  The fragrance doesn’t seem to be as attractive as their body wash and doesn’t linger for a long.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods Golden Sugar Scrub:

• Good exfoliator for dry skin.
• Leaves skin feeling smooth.
• Cute packaging.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods Golden Sugar Scrub:

• Cannot be used alone to clean the body as it doesn’t produce any lather but leaves the skin feeling greasy and oily.
• Sugar crystals get hard quickly and it gets difficult to squeeze out the product from the tube.
• Not a great product for people who expect to have their skin feeling fresh as most of the other scrubs from TBS.

Overall, I am not very satisfied with the product and will not be repurchasing it again.
