Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream Review

Hello lovely ladies,

Another hand cream!!! Again from Bath and Body Works!!! I know it is too much, but this is the last one – pucca. Well, at least as of now. 😛 I have made kind of pact with myself that I would not be purchasing any more hand creams till I finish the ones I already own, but my hubby thinks otherwise. 😉 Well, I don’t blame him. 😛 Anyway, for now, let us move onto the review.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream:

This is another bakery fragrance from BBW. Though I am not a fan of bakery fragrances, I do not have any aversion to this one at least.  The packaging is yummy and delicious. 😉 Explaining this has become repetitive, but again, like all other BBW hand creams, this one too comes in the standard Bath and Body Works tube packing, with a flip open cap. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a click. The size of the tube is perfect for tossing it in your bag and makes the product travel friendly. The tube has bang on graphics of whipped vanilla buttercream swirl on a cupcake, which looks yummy. 😛

When I chose this scent, I admit that I particularly was drawn towards the beautiful graphics on the tube and despite not being a fan of bakery scents, I picked this up, but I quite like this scent. The scent is strong but not as strong as the Iced Gingerbread variant. It smells like a vanilla flavored cupcake with caramel whipped cream. But yes, after a while, the vanilla smell gives way to musky notes. This fragrance does fetch me a lot of compliments. Once, a couple of friends visited us and I walked into the room just after applying the cream and everyone thought I had brought freshly-baked cookies for them. 😛 The scent lasts for long.

The texture is really good, creamy and soft. The cream is slightly off-white, creamy colored and pretty thick. Only a pea-sized is required per application. It gets absorbed quickly and makes my hands velvety soft and moisturized for quite long. The cream is not greasy and so no grease marks on your gadgets, but reapplication is needed post hand wash.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream:

  • Yummy packaging.
  • Creamy texture.
  • Lovely vanilla fragrance.
  • No grease marks on gadgets.
  • Cruelty free.
  • Leaves my hands moisturized for long.
  • Scent fetches a lot of compliments.
  • Just a little bit required per application.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Travel-friendly packaging.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream:

  • Contains parabens.
  • Reapplication is needed after every wash.
  • Would not heal dry and chapped hands.

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream?

Well, I really have too many hand creams to finish as of now and I made a pact with myself, remember!!! 😛 Well, I did like the fragrance, but really don’t know if I would be repurchasing this or not.

Do I Recommend Bath and Body Works Vanilla Butter Cream Nourishing Hand Cream?

This is a fragrance which someone would smell when they walk past you and fetch you compliments. It moisturizes well, so if you like bakery fragrances, you can pick this one without thinking twice. 😉
