Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist Review

Hi Gorgeous ladies!

Isn’t being a woman the most amazing gift in the world? I mean just take a minute to look at yourself and appreciate all the glorifying aspects of womanhood that we possess. Each one of you are smart, talented, loving, compassionate, caring daughters, sisters, wives or mothers even, unique in your own way. Since you are part of the IMBB family, I can feel how much looking and feeling beautiful matters to you and that your taste is impeccable. Having recently joined the IMBB family with you all, I feel all the more beautiful, inside and outside. We deserve only the very best and here’s to us women who make the world go round! You may ask me why am I suddenly in this girl-power mode, well honestly no reason at all other than just wanting to celebrate us all. On this rather joyous note, I thought I would share a review on another one of my favourite body mists – The Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist by the Bath & Body Works Signature Collection.

Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist

This delightful buddy was picked up by me on one of my shopping sprees in the USA at the Bath and Body Works store. Prior to my introduction to the Bath and Body Works brand, I wasn’t quite sure what all the hoo-ha was about till I saw for myself and then the rest was history! I’ve done some earlier reviews on their body mists and simply couldn’t leave this one out as I know just like me; there are many vanilla lovers out there.

A word of caution to those who don’t quite like vanilla, this little genie in a bottle is vanilla overload. It is bound to have you enraptured in aromas of Vanilla Absolut (the intoxicating vanilla flavoured vodka), warm vanilla bean and to top it off, the very exquisite spicy caramel and dark vanilla flavoured Tonka bean which is a flat, wrinkled legume from South America. Voila…now you know what I’m talking about!

Price:

$14.00 for 236 ml.

Key Fragrance notes:

The sweet indulgence of Sheer Florals, Vanilla Absolut and Sandalwood
Top Notes: Intoxicating Vanilla, White Orchid
Mid Notes: Vanilla Tonka, Sparkling Sugar, Fresh Coconut, Fresh Jasmine
Dry Notes: Warm Vanilla Bean, Cocoa Bean, Creamy Sandalwood.

Packaging:

This mist comes in the signature Bath and Body Works transparent plastic spray bottle and the fragrance has a light caramelized hue. Apt coloured fragrance for ingredients such as sugar and vanilla. Spray nozzle is easy to use with a clear plastic cap.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist:

This particular fragrance as the name suggests is warm, cozy and comforting. The top notes coming through are that of vanilla obviously and a floral orchid note. It literally smells like a bakery where you get whiffs of vanilla essence or pods being stirred up with sugar and caramel and you just want to wrap yourself in a blanket on a cold winter evening and dig into vanilla cookies and freshly-baked cakes. Throw in some vanilla scented candles and you will know what I mean!

I use this in the evenings and for me it’s a winter go-to scent for casual coffee meets or sunny winter brunches or even entertaining at home with loved ones. If you love vanilla and have tried Body Shops vanilla fragrances, then you will unquestionably worship this. Now too much vanilla can be overpowering, but this winner is cleverly amalgamated with sugar notes and that of white orchids and jasmine so you get a mature warm scent that has a soft and powdery finish. The Tonka bean gives it that spicy zeal which, I personally think, brings it to life.

It is warm and subtle so you can generously apply on all your pressure points (behind ears, inner wrists, behind elbows, behind knees) or wherever you fancy. This is a body mist so don’t spray on your clothes, only on your direct body preferably after a shower. Now, we don’t want the moisturizing oils to stain our clothes do we! Longevity is not bad, however due to it being light; you may want to spritz yourself twice or thrice a day if you’re out and about at work etc. Please note that these are body mists so we shouldn’t compare to our more elite friends the EDT and EDP should we!  Try applying a vanilla moisturizer (any brand) or a cocoa butter lotion all over you and then spray this on. It will do wonders.

Pros of Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist:

  • Easy-to-use spray nozzle.
  • Plastic bottle, so not fragile.
  • It is a hit with vanilla lovers as vanilla predominates in the top, mid and base notes, whilst still giving you a surprise of florals and sandalwood.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • The conditioning aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract) makes your skin nourished and does not irritate or harm you if you have sensitive skin.
  • Lasts up to approximately 3-4 hours.
  • Value for money considering the large bottle.

Cons of Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist:

  • Does not last all day so touch ups required every 3-4 hours.
  • Not available in India as of yet.

Would I Repurchase Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist?

Absolutely!

IMBB Rating:

4/5

Conclusion:

Overall, it is one of the best vanilla-based scents I have ever tried from across brands and if you’re boyfriend/husband/partner loves vanilla too, trust me he will want to just eat you….yes it is so yummy! You cannot go wrong with this one. Happy shopping ladies! xoxo
