Today, I am reviewing a shower gel from Bath and Body Works that I have been using for a few months now – the Bath and Body Works Wild Madagascar Vanilla Shower Gel. This fragrance was launched by Bath and Body Works as a Fall fragrance in August 2014. However, I ended up picking it only sometime in winter. Read on to find out how I liked this shower gel.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Wild Madagascar Vanilla Shower Gel:
At the onset, let me admit that I am a Bath and Body Works junkie and love trying out their products. Sometimes, it is their catchy names, sometimes the lovely packaging and sometimes the wonderful fragrances which drive me to haul these products. This time around, it was the mention of “vanilla” and “Wild Madagascar” in the name which drove me to imagine some exotic vacation in a faraway place and I ended up ordering this product online.
I am only too happy with this purchase because it does have the lovely seductive smell of vanilla. In fact, I love that my whole bathroom smells heavenly and spa-like after I have used this shower gel. The smell continues to linger on my body for 1-2 hours before fading out. I would consider this fragrance as perfect for winter months as it gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling.
The product comes in a sturdy bottle with a press cap. The press cap helps to dispense only required quantity of the product. The bottle is transparent and helps to display the content. The shower gel itself is a warm honey-color.
The consistency of the shower gel is not too thick and it lathers up very well (especially with a loofah) making it convenient to use.
It does not dry me out and leaves my skin clean and fresh. The presence of Shea butter and Vitamin E do help in retaining the moisture in the skin. I particularly like that it rinses off easily and does not leave behind any residue.
