I am a sucker for skin care products especially the ones which say nourishing, moisturizing or hydrating. 😛 And my super dry skin and harsh winters here make a perfect excuse for hoarding all the lovely stuff. 😀 So today, I have a hand cream which I am loving these days.  It’s the Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Hand Cream.

Product Description:

Bath and Body Works describes it as a winter must-have! Moisturizing Shea Butter and Vitamin E absorb quickly to leave hands feeling soft, smooth, luxuriously nourished and lightly scented.  An irresistible treat of red apple, rose petals and candied orange.

Price:

$5 for 2 Fl Oz/ 59 ml.

Packaging:

It comes in a cute and sturdy red colored tube with a flip open cap. The graphics on the tube and the color give it a perfect holiday feel. The cap shuts with a click and the size too make it a travel-friendly product.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Nourishing Hand Cream:

I have naturally dry skin and winters make it drier and with all the household chores, my hands does not find any relief. So, a hand cream is a must for me. My friend had a couple of BBW hand creams and I wanted to get them since the day I had used hers. Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Hand Cream is part of their holiday collection and I just adore this fragrance!!

When you apply the cream, it has a sweet citrusy fragrance, more citrusy than sweet, but after a couple of minutes, it smells of sweet apple. The Apple note is sweet and true to the name “candy” apple!! I don’t really get any notes of the rose.  The staying power of this fragrance is fantastic and it stays on my hands even after washing them. The cream is a bit thick in texture but spreads and sinks easily on the skin.

It makes my hands super soft and velvety. Though I have to reapply it every time after I wash my hands, I do not have any qualms about it. It does not leave my hands greasy at all and there are no grease marks on my phone, laptop, etc. This truly is a holiday must have! I smile every time I wear it and it gets me plenty of compliments too!! 😀

• Fragrance is to die for (ok okay, that’s a bit of exaggeration).
• Leaves my hands super soft and velvety.

• Parabens.
