My Experience with Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Magic It’s The Balm Body Butter:
Bath and Body Works recently came out with their “Amazing” body care range. Marshmallow Magic Body Butter is one of fragrances from this range. They have everything from body lotion to body wash in this collection. I purchased both Marshmallow Magic body butter and body cream to assess the range.
This body butter comes in a stunning blue tub with a black lid. The lid has pink graphic design with the wording “It’s the Balm.” The packaging is sturdy and leak proof. The tub is very travel friendly and lightweight. It has beautiful festive decorations on the front and the back is listed with all the ingredients and claims.
The fragrance is specified as a “fluffy blend vanilla Butter, crisp lavender, marshmallow musk.” The scent comes out very sweet and musky. The scent reminds me of a classic vanilla fragranced frosted vanilla cupcake. You can easily smell the vanilla notes when you first apply the cream on the skin. As the fragrance settles, you will notice the scent of musk with a hint of lavender. The fragrance lingers for 4 to 5 hours after which it fades.
This body butter has a creamy texture and is white in colour. The body butter is more moisturising than the body cream. It is perfect to add that much-needed extra moisturization during this harsh winter. The body butter spreads evenly on the skin and gets absorbed instantly. It leaves my skin soft and supple and not greasy.
This body butter makes my skin soft, smooth and hydrated, it feels very nourishing. I feel the body cream is perfect for summer months, but for the winter months, you need this body butter in your life. I usually use the body butter twice a day i.e. after my morning bath and before night-time for moisturizing my skin. The body butter lasts on my skin more than the body cream. I don’t need to keep on reapplying the body butter which is great.
Overall, I am really happy with this Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Magic Body Butter.
