Hi Girls,

I have always seen the moisturizer or body lotion as a plain old thing that I was extremely lazy to put on my skin but which did a lot of good things to my skin. There was not much fun in putting it on my skin day after day.  A small trip to the Bath and Body Works store changed that notion of mine. I am now a big fan of Bath and Body Works (by just using one product).

My Take on Bath and Body Works Paris in Bloom Body Lotion:

Fragrance:

After buying this product, I understood why everyone loves Bath and Body Works products so much. The fragrance of this lotion is so nice and classy that I fell in love with it immediately.  The smell reminds me of Christian Dior – Pure Poison perfume. It has a flowery smell, but not the too sweet, nauseating, flowery smell. I have never experienced such a fragrance on any of the hundreds of lotions I have used. It has good lasting power too, unlike the normal lotions. The fragrance stays on the skin for more than 6 hours.

Moisturizing Factor:

Now, about its moisturizing level.  It will be well suited for oily to dry skin, but it won’t be enough for extremely dry skin.  On application, it feels cool and hydrates the skin, but the hydration doesn’t last very long.  For 4-5 hours, the applied area feels smooth and supple. After that, you will feel the need to reapply it. For extremely dry areas, the frequency of application will be more. This one is mainly suited for summer season. The skin on winter requires more moisturization than this one can offer.

Consistency:

The lotion’s consistency is just perfect, neither too runny nor too thick. The baby-pink colored lotion can be easily applied on the skin without much difficulty.

Packaging:

It comes in a strong plastic bottle with a transparent cap which has a push button that when pushed, opens up a cavity on the cap to dispense the lotion. I love the design and packaging of Bath and Body Works products.

Overall, it’s a good moisturizer that meets light to medium moisturizing requirement with a very good fragrance that makes one crave for it. I am planning to buy more varieties of it just for its lasting scent. I think every girl who wants to pamper herself should own at least one of the Bath and Body Works body lotions. It feels like luxury!
