I can never have enough of Bath and Body Works products. I had been itching to buy products from their newly launched Scent for Spring Signature collection ever since its launch about a month ago. And finally I succumbed and how!!.
This collection has the following fragrances:
Georgia Peach & Sweet Tea
Sweet Magnolia & Clementine
Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla
Sheer Cotton & Lemonade
I picked up lotions and fragrance mists from 3 of these fragrances. Read on to find out more about the Sheer Cotton & Lemonade Body lotion.

My experience with Bath and Body Works Sheer Cotton & Lemonade Body Lotion :
Packaging – The body lotion comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a light blue cap dispenser. The packaging has a lovely blue and yellow imagery on it and really looks very attractive. But that is a common trait in all Bath and Body Works products. One more thing that I noticed is that the name is abbreviated to BBW on products from this range. I don’t know if they are going to use this abbreviation going forward on all products.
Fragrance –Sheer Cotton and Lemonade is a fresh breezy fragrance. The lemon notes initially come on a bit too hard. But gradually, I can smell some other floral notes too. I tried to pinpoint those fragrances but couldn’t. I looked up the notes and found things like Blue Water Accord, Breezy Seasalt and Creamy White Woods. Honestly, I have no idea how those scents are supposed to smell. As time passed on, this scent started smelling like freshly-washed laundry. Now, I don’t mind that kind of a smell but some of you may not like it on their body.
Texture and Performance – The body lotion has a slightly runny consistency which is typical of lotions. It is easy to spread on the skin and also gets absorbed easily. It does not make the skin greasy and does the job of moisturizing pretty well. It leaves my skin soft and supple. It has Shea Butter and Vitamin E in the ingredients and those are surely good for the skin.
A word of caution – this lotion might not be a good option if you are experiencing very dry skin. It would be better to try out a body cream from the same range in such a situation.
Pros of Bath and Body Works Sheer Cotton & Lemonade Body Lotion:
• Moisturizes well
• Non greasy
• Gets absorbed easily in the skin
• Attractive and sturdy packaging
Cons of Bath and Body Works Sheer Cotton & Lemonade Body Lotion:
• Fragrance is similar to the scents in some laundry detergents and might not be liked by all.
• Might not be suitable for extremely dry skin.
