I have been falling sick a lot lately, so I wasn’t able to write, but I’m recovering now, and feeling much better. Plus I had so many assignment submissions! Ugh!

Anyways, today I bring you Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Softening Hand Lotion with paraffin. I recently spotted this range when the sale was on, and I really liked the range so I got quite a few products from there. There was some offer like “Buy 2 Get 2 Free” so I needed to get 4 products and this was one of them. Frankly I don’t really need a hand lotion because I already have butter fingers and keep dropping everything I touch 😀 But I really liked the packaging and wanted to try it out so I just got it on a whim.

Description

Keep skin soft and smooth with this super softening hand lotion. Formulated with Paraffin, Olive, Avocado and Apricot Oils plus antioxidant Vitamin E.

Slather on a generous amount of this lotion for super soft hands.

There’s loads of ingredients so I’ll just put a picture instead. It has parabens though.

Packaging:

It is a very cute pink colored thick tube which will easily fit in your purse so that you can use it anytime. It is great for travel too and the tube packaging ensures ease of usage and hygiene. I love the tagline that says “look ma, new hands”!!

My take on Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Softening Hand Lotion:

So, as I said, I bought it on a whim, but now I really love this product! If you have normal hands then you will require a tiny amount and it will be enough to moisturize your hands for many hours. It has a pretty thick consistency, like a cream, so I think it’d be more appropriate to name it a cream. It smells slightly citrusy like orange and lime zest, but it’s not overpowering, just refreshing and I love my hands smelling like it.

So because I didn’t know whether I should judge it on my experience alone, I asked my friend to use it, who has very dry and rough hands . And she loved it! She loves it so much that now I have to go and ask for it when I want to use it 😀

She says her hands become super soft and moisturized and the greasy feeling lasts for a pretty short time. Even for me the greasy feeling lasts for a very short time if I use a small quantity. This pack will last me a really long time. Also, I feel like using it as a treat so it’ll last even longer. So, those who want intense moisturization will find it really helpful for themselves.
Another thing. It’s not paraben-free. Although I don’t believe the claims that parabens can be absorbed by skin like this and will be harmful in these quantities. There are scientific studies which prove otherwise. I’ll go with science on this.

Cons of Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Super Softening Hand Lotion:

• Price is on the higher side but you can get great discounts.

Overall, I’ll definitely recommend this product especially if you have really dry hands. I’ll probably not repurchase but will definitely look for other products in this range.
