Today, I will be reviewing another lip gloss from the Liplicious range of the brand Bath & Body Works. I got this product as a gift from a cousin in USA. Let’s find out whether this gloss is really irresistible like it’s name “Whipped Vanilla” suggests.

My Experience with Bath & Body Works Whipped Vanilla Liplicious Lip Gloss.

I love Bath & Body Works Liplicious lip glosses like Limeade, Black Cherry and Dark Kiss. This range has a variety of glosses that are all scented and usually inspired by a fruit, food or a drink. Whipped Vanilla is a mauve, pinkish rose colour with gold shimmer. It looks super pretty and gives your lips a pink tint with a beautiful shiny finish. What I love most about Liplicious lip glosses are that they’re really moisturizing, so I don’t even need to put on a lip balm underneath. It’s a gorgeous colour that blends in with my natural lips, but gives an extra shine.

This product is not only highly pigmented, but it also smells wonderful! It smells like buttercream vanilla frosting, which is to die for and tastes just like the same. So it is true to its name “Whipped Vanilla”.

The consistency is pretty thick and sticky, though it glides on lips as well as hydrating. This gloss doesn’t bleed or settles in fine lines on lips. It also gives a mauve, pink shine to lips. It lasts about 2 hours, but glitter particles linger for long. It can be used alone or even on top of any lip colour.

It comes in a cute transparent tube with a silver coloured screw cap. I have the older packaging of the tube. It is easy to apply the gloss with the slanted tube applicator and one can control the amount of gloss by pressing the tube accordingly. This also avoids wastage of the product. The tube closes very secure and is perfect for carrying around, especially since it needs reapplications often.

I’ve been using this lip gloss every day for the past week, and it’s amazing. All you need is to apply some lip liner for some definition and get ready for those party perfect lips. It can also be applied on matte lipsticks in shades of pink/plum for that extra oomph!

I have a lot of the Liplicious lip glosses and this is definitely one of my favourites! Bath and Body Works usually has sales on the lip glosses, like 3 for $15, but they are quite expensive if not on sale. Even currently, they are on ‘Buy 2 get 1 free’ offer on the Bath and Body Works website.
