After the original Beauty Blender revolutionized makeup application, they have introduced a new variation of this sponge. Read on to know more about the Beauty Blusher.
A medium-sized applicator designed to deliver the right amount of blush product onto your cheeks.
What it does: Beauty.blusher is the perfect sized applicator for streak-free, cream and powder blush application. Smaller than beautyblender® original and larger than the micro.mini, beauty.blusher lands easily along the cheeks and cheekbones. Inspired by the beautyblender original, this sponge makes applying blush effortless. The cool grey color of beauty.blusher allows you to distinguish color undertones for the perfect blushing effect. Beautyblender features an open cell structure that fills with small amounts of water when wet. This allows the sponge to be “full” so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed, allowing you to use less product every time. When wet, Beautyblender doubles in size and becomes even softer, returning to its original size when it air dries. Beautyblender has chosen to use safe, water-soluble dyes that do not harm the environment and will maintain the integrity of their proprietary foam. For this reason, you may notice some color run off or wash away the first time you wet beautyblender. This is normal and will disappear after you have cleansed the product several times. Please note – the color will not transfer onto the face or clothing.
My Experience with Beauty blusher by Beautyblender:
I love love love the original Beauty Blender. My makeup routine is not complete without it. Though I prefer using the Beauty Blender for applying my foundation, I do find it difficult to use it with concealer as it is difficult to get into the small areas and crevices due to its size. I have also used the beauty blender micro mini, but I find that to be too small and it feels very inconvenient to hold, hence I rarely reach for it. When the new beauty blusher released, I immediately knew that this is what I have been waiting for!
The beauty blusher is a size right between the beauty blender and beauty blender micro mini. For reference, it is roughly the size of the dry beauty blender when it is wet.
The material it’s made of is exactly the same as the micro mini which is softer and plusher than the original beauty blender. I find the size of this to be perfect for cream blush as well as concealer application. Though I do use it more for concealer than blush (as I prefer using powder blushes over crème ones). For concealer, the size is just right. It blends my concealer in a jiffy and gets easily under the lower lash line and the inner corner. I also use this sponge to pack on loose powder for baking.
It also works great to blend out crème blush, crème highlight, even crème contour, you name it! The size of it helps give you controlled application on the desired area. I can use it to blend all my crème products all at once by using all different sides of the sponge for different products and it does not make my makeup look muddy.. I would not recommend this particular size for foundation application. Though it is achievable, you will be sitting and blending your foundation for hours.
The only thing I do not like is the dull grey color, though I understand the practicality of it, in the sense that you are able to easily see the amount and color of the crème product you are putting on, it just does not look as pretty on my vanity as the bright pink sponge. It also tends to get easily stained by crème blushes. I find it easy to clean using any regular brush shampoo.
Overall, this beauty blusher has become a staple product in my makeup routine, I am very happy with it. I will recommend it and also repurchase it again and again.

Beauty Blusher after Beauty Blender, that seems like a win. Have you used it with powder blush? 🙂
