How important it is to take care of one’s skin, especially the sensitive part on the face!? Skin care holds more importance to me than makeup. I try different products in the skin care range, and keep switching products from time to time since my skin doesn’t adapt to a single product.

Beauty Formulas Apricot Deep Cleansing Self Heating Mask is a face mask that I got recently because I was intrigued by the term ‘self-heating’. Let’s see what it did for my skin.

My Experience with Beauty Formulas Apricot Deep Cleansing Self Heating Mask:

Packaging: The face mask comes packed in a pouch. I totally detest the packaging. It is difficult to store once opened and also a hassle to squeeze it out as it gets settled at the bottom.

Consistency: The consistency of the apricot mask is a bit runny, but is manageable. It can be spread easily and evenly on the face. The mask is pale orange in color, looks really catchy.

Smell: The smell is calming. I don’t think I’ve ever smelled apricots, so maybe I cannot decide what exactly it is! 😀 The aroma is neither too strong nor too mild.

Usage and Results: This pouch will last for maximum of four uses, and I feel it is expensive for the quantity given. The self heating claim is true, and it does give a soothing warm feeling a few seconds after it is applied on the face. I feel like sitting back and relaxing, to experience the spa effect :D.

I have open pores at the sides of my nose which tend to accumulate impurities which later show up as blackheads. This mask says it opens the pores to remove impurities, which made me anxious as I did not want larger pores! Thankfully, it did not show any effects on making the pores appear larger. 😀

I applied this mask and let it stay for about 15 minutes before rinsing it. It did make my skin feel and look fresh. I could notice an induced glow which does not last too long,though. Also, it made my skin dry. Since, this is already the dry season I’d think of using it in summers. This mask will work its best for oily skinned beauties. I cannot be happier as it does not contain any parabens and it has some good ingredients also.

Definitely! This is a good face mask that gives a warm, calming sensation. This mask would show results for beauties with oily skin. It also makes the skin feel and look good. Dry skinned beauties need to think before buying. Other than that, this is a good face mask.
