My Experience with Beauty Formulas Body Wash with Activated Charcoal:
The body wash comes in a small oval shaped white plastic bottle with a black flip cap. It is very simple yet a travel-friendly packaging that has information about the product. According to its quantity, the price is definitely reasonable. But this product is not easily available.
Due to the presence of activated charcoal, it has a black coloured medium smooth consistency that glides easily on the skin. It’s neither too thick nor thin, so it’s easy to use. Like always, I need just a coin sized amount to lather the product well.
I prefer to put it on a wet loofah and it lathers perfectly on the body, hence I can easily enjoy a foam bath with it. But I need extra amount to create lather with exfoliating gloves. It feels gentle and soft on the skin and is quite easy to rinse as well – without much slipperiness.
As we all know, activated charcoal is perfect to cleanse the skin deeply. This body wash too works deeply to remove dirt and sweat from the skin. It is a great product for washing out everyday impurities and it also protects the skin from germs. It has an oil-clearing power that keeps the skin non-oily.
After spending time out on a heavily polluted day, this body wash effectively removes the dull layer from the skin. My skin looks brighter, cleaner and fresher each time I use it. It never dries out my skin and gives it a squeaky clean effect. It also has a nice charcoal-like smell, which fades rather quickly.
Now, coming to the hydrating part. It does provide a decent amount of hydration to the skin and keeps it soft and moisturised for long. I always need a body lotion for extra nourishment during the ongoing winters, though. So, it’s not super moisturising but my normal to dry skin never feels rough after the shower. Also, it has never irritated my skin.
It adds a healthy and clear glow to the skin and this freshness lasts long. This body wash has actually improved the texture of my skin. Overall, I really like this body wash and its deep cleansing power. It actually makes a difference in the skin. It is actually a perfect product for summers as it keeps the skin super clean and fresh.
