My Experience with Beauty Formulas Micellar Cleansing Facial Water:
The packaging of the product is simple and sturdy. The micellar water, comes in a clear cylindrical plastic bottle. All necessary product details are mentioned at the back of the bottle. The bottle has a clear flip cap that shuts tightly with an audible click and makes this bottle travel friendly. The clear bottle helps to see the quantity of product left. The nozzle dispenses the right amount of product but you need to be a little careful while dispensing, as the product may spill off easily. Overall, the packaging has no flaws; it is very sturdy and easy to use.
The micellar water is clear. The brand claims it to be fragrance free, but it is actually not. Though, it has a mild and refreshing cucumber like fragrance with some floral hints. The smell is totally non-bothering but that fragrance free claim is false. The smell is relaxing and quite soothing. The consistency of the product is runny just like water. It almost feels like water.
The formula is specially formulated for sensitive skin types. It never irritated my sensitive skin. I did not get any redness or skin irritation after use. It feels so gentle on the skin. It never breaks me out. Hence, it is a great option for daily use. But, it requires a lot of effort while removing the makeup. Just a few swipes are good enough to cleanse the no makeup face and gives a squeaky clean feeling.
The micellar water, effectively cleanses my skin and helps me get rid of all impurities, oil and dirt. It was supposed to work equally effective in removing makeup also. But, it has failed to do that. It removes normal makeup easily but it is simply impossible to remove waterproof makeup with it.
You may check the swatches below, where you can see it did not remove my liquid lipsticks and waterproof eye makeup. It keeps my skin retain its moisture and does not dry out my skin. The product is safe to be used on all skin types. Overall, this is a great to be used as a simple cleanser for no makeup days or non-waterproof makeup. But, it is not effective in removing waterproof makeup.
Pros of Beauty Formulas Micellar Cleansing Facial Water:
