Beauty Formulas come up with some really intriguing concepts when it comes to face masks. I tried the apricot ‘self heating’ mask and I really liked it. I found this ‘oxygen rich bubble mask’ in the supermarket and I couldn’t help myself from picking it up. It’s always exciting to try something new. So let’s head to the review. ..

My Take on Beauty Formulas Oxygen Rich Bubble Mask Rich Indulgent Chocolate:

I was not a big fan of the other face masks from Beauty Formulas as it was not convenient to store them. These too come in pouch packaging but it is not much of a hassle since each sachet is made for one time use. The details are mentioned at the back side of the pack with the directions of usage, ingredients etc.

The description says that the mask reacts with air to form foam. When it is opened you get a white creamy fluid that within no time reacts with air and starts to form foam. It smells heavenly of chocolates and it lingers on for quite some time. The foam is also rich and creamy. You will have to be very quick in applying the fluid all over your face as it forms foam within no time. The foam has to be massaged nicely for some time. The instructions say that the skin needs to be free from moisture as it may hinder the formation of foam. As the foam forms, it needs to be massaged for a minute. The instruction did not say as to how long the mask need to be kept on before rinsing. I kept it on for about 10 minutes as I was unsure if it was a mask or not and rinsed it with warm water.

The results really impressed me. I was indulged in the rich aroma of the chocolate and later on my skin was left squeaky clean. The oil was all washed away and it was at bay for about half a day. My pores were cleansed and tightened too and I could notice radiance though that was short lived. Yes the ingredient list has too many chemicals that I do not admire but I could also see some good ones too. I must say that this mask made me happy and it wouldn’t hurt to try it out once since this feels totally new. Plus who doesn’t like chocolates!? 😛
