7 Beauty Resolutions You Should Follow to Get Perfect Skin

I am back to share a new post with you all. You would have often felt that you are doing something good for your skin and hair but not getting any good results. Even with our workout and diet, we keep on doing so many efforts but do not get the desired result. Did you ever think why? The reason is probably the resolutions, rules and techniques that you are not following in the right way. Just as a plank needs to be done in a perfect posture to get maximum results similarly you need to follow some of the below beauty resolutions to get results.

1. Water, water and more water:

I know this all of us are aware of but honestly, do we all really drink enough water in a day, as much as required? 8 glasses of water in a day is must for our body to accept all the beauty creams for your skin and to detoxify your body really well. Some people don’t really understand its importance but I am a big example, I used to have very less amount of water in a day and I faced whole lot of problems of digestion, dull skin, dead cells, patchy lips etc, as soon as I started drinking 8-9 glasses a day, my skin literally started to shine within a month.

2. Do not skip the moisturizer, CTM and lip balms:

Whether dry skin or extremely oily skin, do not think that your skin does not needs a moisturizer. The difference is every skin type needs a different kind of moisturization, and do not skip the CTM routine. I often forget to carry my lip balm and have had chapped lips all day long, the biggest mistake. Our lips are the softest and sensitive part so of course they need extra care. So keep applying a hydrating lip balm with vitamin E that prevents your lips from UV rays, darkening and drying.

3. Avoid layering products and switching treatments:

I had a book long back “21 days” – it had the theories proving that everything should be done continuously in the same way, same intensity for 21 days to see the result. If you change your efforts or treatment or the intensity by which you are using that product, you would not see the real results. As our skin, body and hair takes 21 days minimum to understand what is happening and what is being given to it? So do not switch to number of different treatments and avoid layering your products such as using face wash, then applying skin serum, then a moisturizer and then topping it with sunscreen and also foundations and tons of makeup. Huff, Relax. Do not torture your skin this way. I agree it is important to apply a serum, moisturizer and sunscreen but not back to back. Give your skin some time to absorb products.

4. Do not get driven by excessive makeup hauls and over application:

I find it amazing when I check out rati di ’s makeup hauls and her amazing new makeup products and I feel like, OMG, I need this. But for me it is of no point as I get crazy over makeup products and start using it a lot, then I get pimples and problems. Haha. So it is better to use only required  amount and do not over apply things to your face, keep things light. Also please do not do the oversampling of products. Many of us try samples and stash product to know about them. But do not over-do it otherwise your face is going to suffer like hell. Just like over exfoliating is bad, similarly over doing any application of skin care or makeup make things go wrong.

5. Get some beauty sleep:

Sleep helps our skin cells to restore and repair which is very important to have amazing skin without any problems. Also if you get enough and more sleep, your skincare regime will show up great results. Sleeping in makeup is the worst thing we can do to our skin, we all know. But also keep in mind to wash your face with a good face wash when you wake up in morning to remove all the excess oil produced in night time. Also after a workout you need to wash your face with a face wash otherwise the sweat and dirt would create mess together!

6. Keep a check on your diet and lifestyle changes:

Our diet, body patterns of responding to different things and lifestyle changes play a huge role in effectiveness of products on our face. Depends whether you are in stress or going through some emotional drama, all these things show up on your skin. So do take care of all these factors and quit your smoking and drinking habits ASAP! I don’t need to tell its disadvantages as all of us know. No use of using any cuticle oils for your nails, because smoking make your teeth and nails turn yellow. Also here I would like to tell you to use a good nail polish remover, because an acetone remover can strip off natural oils from nails.

7. Do not quit using a sunscreen:

From the date I have started using a sunscreen of SPF 50 whenever I go out and using lotus herbals protective lotion of SPF 25 when I am sitting at home, did wonders to my skin. Using a good sunscreen reduces the tan by 50% and also gives you a smooth base for your other applications. Also cover yourself as much as you can to protect your skin from pollution, dirt and sun rays too.
Following these beauty resolutions will give you the maximum benefits.
