Like many other brands Bebe also has their face wash with integrated makeup remover. I have tried a few from Nivea and they never worked. So I switched to Nivea Makeup Remover Milk and am satisfied with the results. But I was tempted to try the face wash from Bebe so that I can save some time using one product instead of two. Wondering what the results were like? Read on to know.

My Experience with Bebe Young Care Quick & Clean Facewash & Eye Make-Up Remover:
The packaging is the typical “Bebe packaging”; it is light pink in color. The product comes in a squeeze tube with a flip lid. The tube stands sturdy upside down on top of the counter. The product is easy to squeeze and is also easy to control the amount dispensed. The overall packaging is good and is travel safe.
The consistency of the product is gel like. It is transparent in color. The product lathers very well and does not sting the eye. A little goes a long way. The fragrance is very mild and I was not able to figure out what it smelt like. It was not fruity or floral scented. But the fragrance is so mild that you will hardly notice.
Coming to the claim that it’s a makeup remover, I use only water soluble makeup products; I never opt for water proof ones. So, I wet my face and apply the gel and lather it up to rub all over my face including the eyes. Then I wash it off with water. I see that most of the makeup products vanish. There is a little bit of eyeliner in-between my lashes and also under the eye; a bit of eye makeup remains. I am actually impressed by its performance. The little eye makeup in between lashes is always hard to get rid of. But overall I am impressed with the results. The product also washes away easily.
Now coming to the most important thing, after the first usage, the following morning I noticed 4 new pimples on my face. I am not sure if this product caused a breakout or not. I did not have any pimples in the past one month and was so happy that my skin was getting better. I would not blame this product without solid proof. I am currently using the product to make sure what caused the breakout. One more pimple and I quit. The product removes the makeup but also kind of rips off the facial oil; you HAVE to moisturize the face after using this product.

I am not sure. I have decided to give it a try for few more weeks and then decide. If it doesn’t cause any more breakouts then I will surely repurchase.

If you don’t have sensitive skin like me and breakout is not an issue then go for it; it does the job well.
