A while ago, I had hauled a couple of Becca Mineral blushes. I had reviewed the shade “Wild Honey” previously. This review will be on the shade “Flowerchild.”

My Experience with Becca Flowerchild Mineral Blush:
Packaging: This product comes in the signature Becca packaging with a rubberized compact which does tend to attract dust. There is a nice-sized mirror inside, but there is no applicator provided.
Texture: These blushes are a very finely milled powder. They are very smooth and silky to touch. Even the shades which contain some shimmer are not gritty. I love the fact that these powders are mineral based and free of parabens.
Shade and Finish: The shade “Flowerchild” is described as a peachy pink blush with golden highlights which is absolutely true. This blush gives me the most natural-looking pink flush with a golden glow which makes my skin look youthful. This is the blush I will reach for on days when my skin is looking dull or lackluster and it just seems to perk up my complexion. This shade pairs well with most makeup looks and will flatter skin tones from light all the way to medium-tan. Dark skin girls may find it difficult to get this color to show up.
The golden highlight (which is actually very tiny shimmer particles) is not really visible unless you look under direct sunlight or observe really closely hence even if you are someone who steers away from shimmery products, I don’t think you will mind these.
This shade reminds me of NARS Orgasm blush, but less heavy with golden shimmer. The finish it gives on the skin is luminous and glowing.
Pigmentation: These blushes have a buildable pigmentation. They layer well and you can go sheer or heavy depending on how much you apply. They do not apply patchy or streaky and are very easy to use. These blushes do not accentuate my pores or dry patches.
Staying Power: Very good staying power. It stays practically all day on my skin which is about 8 hours. I did notice some slight fading starting to occur at 6 hours, but the color was still fairly visible by the end of the day. The shimmer particles did not travel all over my face.
Overall, I love these mineral blushes by Becca. They are very easy to use, no-fuzz blushes, and come in an array of flattering shades. I do love the shade “Wild Honey” more because of its uniqueness, but for every other reason I love the shade “Flowerchild” equally. I will recommend them.

Cons of Becca Flowerchild Mineral Blush:
- I do not like the rubberized case which gets dirty quickly.
- The quantity seems tiny for the high price.
