I have used many products by this brand! Although, Becca is known for its ‘Shimmering Skin Perfectors’, it has a lot of cheek, eye and face products that are worth trying. Here, I am reviewing their Beach Tint which is actually a lip and cheek stain.
An award-winning, editors’ favorite and BECCA bestseller, this blendable crème stain tints lips and cheeks with a natural, believable wash of water-resistant colour.

My Experience with Becca Lychee Beach Tint:
It comes in a matte, dark brown colored tube packaging. To show the shade of the tint, it has a colored band near the neck of the tube. Product is dispensed through a nozzle. It’s a perfect nozzle to squeeze out the right amount of the product. The amount of the product given is only 7ml. It is very disappointing! The packaging is travel friendly. In the front, the company name, product name etc are mentioned. At the back, all the other details are mentioned.
The texture is creamy. As a lip stain, it is not hydrating, but anyway stains do not usually hydrate. Sometimes, when you blend a stain, it concentrates colors in some areas of the skin. Well, this stain blends evenly. For cheeks, I will suggest to use your fingers as brush usage will waste product. For lips, you can use fingers or a lip brush. While blending, you have to be fast, as if it sets, it won’t budge. Not even water can harm it. Yes, it is waterproof!!
It is bright, hot pink colored lip and cheek stain. On cheeks, it looks very well, but on lips it gives very light wash of color or can call it a ‘sheer’ stain. It’s a waste on lips, trust me. I will call it a very sheer product. On cheeks, the sheerness does not have much problem. Little goes a long way, but on lips, sometimes, you need real visible colors. One more thing, when I applied to my semi dry lips, it just held on to my dry patches. So, scrubbing your lips is must!
It’s a long long staying product for cheeks. Stayed without fading for up to 7-8 hours on my cheeks. I had used a setting spray though. On my lips, it can stay up to 2-3 hours. Most of the times, when I eat anything with even little amount of oil, it dissolves a part of stain and removes it. Since it is waterproof, you can liberally use it in monsoons, hot humid days or on your trips to the beach/water parks.
Pros of Becca Lychee Beach Tint:
• Long staying product on cheeks
• Creamy texture
• Blends evenly
• Can be built easily
• Travel friendly
• Dispenser is good
• Very pretty, natural color
Cons of Becca Lychee Beach Tint:
• Sheer pigmentation
• Not good for lips
• Expensive for so little product
Would I Recommend Becca Lychee Beach Tint?
It’s a collector’s item. It is a good cheek stain. I have not seen any stain that works well on cheeks and lips both. Lip stains have different consistency. Lips need little moisture and cheeks need little dryness. How can company strike a balance in that? It is a waterproof product, which drove me to buy the product. Still, I cannot justify $25 for 7ml!
What are your thoughts, ladies? Give me suggestions for good lip and cheek stain?
