What it does:
Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush features multi-dimensional, versatile blushes to create a subtle, shimmering flush. Specially designed to flatter all skin tones, this collection is inspired by the fan favorite Shimmering Skin Perfector—just the right balance of color and light. Wear them alone for subtle blushed luminosity, or as a blush topper layered on top of your favorite matte blush for an added pop of radiance.  It is formulated without parabens, sulfates.

My Experience with Becca Snapdragon Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush:

Packaging:  Becca has this standard packaging for most of her products. They all look the same and the only way to differentiate between them is based on the size of the compact or reading the label underneath. I do wish now that there is some novelty and variety in her packaging. This blush pan is a rubberized compact with a good-sized mirror. It does attract dust, but is quite sturdy and travel friendly.

Shade and Finish:  The shade “Snapdragon” is a gorgeous warm-toned coral pink. This shade has a golden sheen, but it is not as strong and apparent as the shade “Tigerlily” that I have reviewed just recently. This blush immediately brightens up and gives life to your face. I feel this shade will suit all skin tones, it is very versatile.

Texture and Pigmentation:  These powder blushes are finely milled and smooth to touch. Even though most, if not all the blushes in the “Luminous Blush” range contain shimmer, but they do not feel gritty. They are quite easy to blend with a semi-opaque coverage. They do not apply patchy and are build-able.  These blushes are marketed as “can be used alone or as a blush topper.” They are quite pigmented on their own even if you decide not to layer them as blush toppers; you can get a fully opaque pigmentation in 2-3 layers.

The gorgeous sheen catches the light and gives you that signature “Becca glow,” but a softer version of it (when compared to the highlighters). The shimmers are not too apparent on the skin unless you are under direct sunlight.

Even though they are quite luminous, it is not overwhelming, disco ball-ish kind. You can absolutely add a highlighter if you wish for more glow. The shimmers do not cling to dry patches nor do they accentuate pores.

Staying Power:  Staying Power was quite impressive. It stayed on my skin for 7-8 hours with slight amount of fading.

Overall, I am quite impressed with this new range of blushes from Becca. If you love the glow-y effect of crème blushes but have oily skin or simply do not like the tacky feel of them, this is an ideal product for you. It gives the most gorgeous, soft, natural-looking glow to your skin, which you can accentuate on by topping it with a highlighter too. I was expecting them to be quite sheer because they are labeled as blush toppers, but the amazing pigmentation has impressed me.

I highly recommend this luminous blush 🙂

  1. This blush is a bit time beauty! The kinda shade you fall in love with at first sight. They should definitely launch more shades now. Loved the review Neha.
