My Experience with Becca Wild Honey Mineral Blush:

Packaging:  This product comes in the signature Becca packaging with a rubberized compact which does tend to attract dust. There is a nice-sized mirror inside but there is no applicator provided.

Texture:  This powder blush is very finely milled and feels smooth to the touch.  Even the other shades (from this range) that contain a little bit of shimmer, like this particular shade, do not feel gritty. This powder blush is easy to apply and blend, and does not go on patchy.

Shade:  The shade “Wild Honey” is a gorgeous color and I do not have a color like this in my collection. I usually only steer towards traditional colors like pinks, corals etc., for my blush, but this orange undertone peachy-bronze blush turned out to be incredibly flattering on my light to medium skin tone. This is one of those neutral colors which will look good with any makeup and will look particularly stunning with a tan. It has a quality of making your face look slimmer without any contour.

I would not recommend this particular shade to deeper skin tone beauties only because due to the nature of this color, it might blend and disappear with your skin tone.

Pigmentation:  This color has good pigmentation and shows up nicely in 1-2 layers on my skin.  The colors are easily buildable to the intensity you like.

Finish:  The shade “Wild Honey” has a semi-matte finish, but it does impart a nice golden sheen to the skin due to the presence of tiny shimmer particles throughout. It gives a nice healthy glow to the skin which looks very natural. The shimmers are very fine and undetectable on their own unless you look very closely. The shimmer does not cling to my dry patches. Even if you are someone who steers clear of shimmery products, I feel like you won’t mind this.

Staying Power:  Very good staying power.  It stays practically all day on my skin which is about 8 hours. I did notice some slight fading starting to occur at 6 hours, but the color was still fairly visible by the end of the day. The shimmer particles did not travel all over my face.

Overall, I love this blush, especially this gorgeous shade and the fact that it is mineral based, hence also good for your skin without the presence of parabens. The fantastic staying power and the beautiful sheen are added plus points. The only thing I do not like about this blush is that it feels super tiny for the high price.  I will recommend this.

  1. This is such a pretty blush shade. I am yearning for more products in the earthy/browny tones and this one looks so good! Nicely reviewed, Neha! 🙂

  2. I love such subtle shades, own one too. It adds a nice, sunkissed look that I absolutely love. Love it Neha, despite all the cons.
