My Experience with Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb:

Packaging: I like the simple tub packaging. Nothing fancy here, but it is sturdy and can be a good travel companion.

Texture: This product has a wonderful whipped gel-based texture. It is so lightweight, spreads easily onto the skin and sinks in, absorbs within seconds. True to its name, “Aqua Bomb,” this product feels like I have splashed cold water on my skin after a long summer day. It feels truly refreshing. It has a mild cooling sensation, but not tingly like menthol-based products, it feels quite pleasant.

Usage and Results: This product is recommended to be used both morning and night, which can absolutely be done. This product is ideal for all skin types, but I feel that oily and combination skin types might truly enjoy this due to its lightweight, non-greasy feel and shine-free finish on the skin. Though my dry skin loves it as well, on occasions, when my skin is very parched and I am in need of an intensive treatment for my skin, this moisturizer falls short on its own unless I combine it or top it with a facial oil.

During summers when I prefer my base skin care to be non-heavy and non-greasy, this product fits the bill perfectly. I love using this as my morning moisturizer. It makes a great base under makeup and helps keep my skin supple all day. It does not clog my pores, smooths the texture and dry patches on my skin and does not make my makeup slide around. Though I can use it as a night-time moisturizer as well, but I do prefer going a bit heavier with cream-based moisturizers for my dry skin.

Fragrance: It has a mild herbal scent which does not linger for long.

Overall, I absolutely love this product. Even though I may not consider it something that completely addresses all the concerns of my dry skin, I still love how it makes my skin feel. This might just become my staple summer-time moisturizer. I will recommend this to everyone but especially to those with oily/combo skin, this might be just what you are looking for 🙂
