The Easter weekend is very near and so the parties have already begun. Last week I went to a common friend’s party for Easter and she had a little something as return gift for everyone present. I got a lip and cheek stain from Bellapierre Cosmetics. I have not seen this brand in the stores yet. I have visited but I have heard of this brand from bloggers and friends. This is a natural product based company and they do not do animal testing. I got the shade in pink whereas a friend of mine got coral and I believe they have only 2 shades in this category.
Unlike traditional stains that are hard to apply, this oil-free Cheek and Lip Stain will finish off any look with great ease and is super blend-able. Available in Pink or Coral.
Bellápierre Cosmetics is one of the fastest growing mineral make-up companies in the world. Founder of the company, David Oren, is a key player in the manufacturing of natural cosmetics. Being in the cosmetics industry since 2000, he has developed a passion for quality and purity; not just a business idea. In 2005, following on from the great success with his line of skincare, David decided it was time to move forward and try something new. Having realized that the cosmetics trends were moving towards natural, organic products, David began researching one idea in particular which seemed to be forming a niche in the cosmetics industry: mineral makeup. Shortly after, Bellápierre was born. Bellápierre Cosmetics products are unique because of the fact that they produce and manufacture their own products, enabling them to respond quickly as the cosmetic market trends change. The diversity of our color pigments and the fact that our mineral make up product line is all based on natural ingredients appeals to all skin types and tones.
How To Use Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain In Pink:
With your finger apply a small amount to your lips as you would with any lip balm. Apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks and blend for a just-pinched hue.
Price and Quantity:
$19.99 for 5g/0.176oz.
The product comes in a mini tub close to the size of Inglot gel liners. The shade name is given at the bottom but one can see the color from out as well because the tub is transparent plastic, this would be a travel friendly option since its pretty sturdy and non-runny texture.
My Experience With Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain In Pink:
I am glad to have got a cosmetic product as a gift rather than a something else. The brand creates natural makeup products that can be used by all shades of skin tones.
The cheek and lip stain in pink that I am reviewing here is much like cool tones of Barbie pink but darker in person. I have applied it on my cheeks and it blended pretty well without any issues and helped create a natural and sheer stain on the cheeks.
This product, when applied on lips, tends to be dry and doesn’t look flattering, though it’s great to have 2 in 1 product but I am more likely to use it on my cheeks than on my lips. The staying power was moderate from 3-4 hours in this early spring weather here which is about mild cold, so I am assuming that in summer the longevity would be less if not more due to sweat and hot temperatures.
I like the product on my cheeks and the natural look it gives without going overboard, but I am a bigger fan of powder blush so I may not buy the same product and even if you do buy this product, try to swatch the coral one as well because that one looks more natural on our Indian skin tone.
Pros of Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain In Pink:
1. Natural ingredients.
2. Cruelty free.
3. Natural flush of color to cheeks.
Cons of Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain In Pink:
1. Expensive for the amount you get.
2. Just 2 shades to select from.
3. Availability is limited.
IMBB Rating: 2.5/5
Do I Recommend Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain In Pink?
You can skip it as it turned out to be just an average cream blush but without much creaminess.
It’s springtime here so we are all coming out of the winter hibernation and visiting as many places we can 😀 We went to the University of Washington in Seattle to have a look at the famous Sakura blooms. Sharing the pics with IMBB readers.
