My Experience with Bellapierre Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow:

I rarely use blushes, and when I do, they ought to be special occasions.  So, I don’t own many of them. This was a pretty generous gift and I couldn’t be happier 😛 I have heard that mineral makeup is less harmful and also good for the skin. This blush is available in two sizes and I got the smaller one, the full sized one costs round 45$.

The blush comes in a little tub with a screw cap. The tub has a cap with holes to dispense the powder for convenient usage. I find it very easy to use. The cap is also sturdy and sits in place. It can be tossed into handbags for touchups without a thought. The ingredients and some details are given below, on a sticker. It is also cruelty free!

“Autumn Glow” is a light peachy color with super fine golden shimmers. The shimmers are not at all gritty or harsh and the texture is super smooth. Autumn Glow does not have sharp pigments, but it is a very subtle color. Pigmentation is very low, but the shimmers do save the day.

The peachy tone doesn’t actually show up and it needs to be layered for the color to show up. The texture, as I mentioned previously, is super smooth and very soft. Blending is a bliss and it gets even easily too. It did not break me out too.

This particular shade is suitable to get a sun-kissed look.  It’s not too suitable for evenings. This is more of an illuminator than a blush since it hardly shows any color. My cheekbones are highlighted and look sharp. It reflects light well too. It is not prone to any prominent fallout, considering it is a powder. It blends and sets away on the skin, but staying power is low. It lasts about 3 hours maximum after which it literally disappears. This shade will show up only on fair skinned beauties. Also, the shimmers are not a problem to remove and they do not spread all over too. I like this blush, even though the color is too subtle, it gives a healthy, natural sheen that I love.

Would I Repurchase Bellapierre Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow?
I guess I like this despite the fact it is poorly pigmented. Everything has pros’ and cons’. The ingredients are friendly and it blends easily. Slightly pricey, but do give it a thought before getting this 🙂

  1. I have recently started to use mineral foundation and have been in love with it ever since! I too got a sample product from the same brand and I loved it! 😀 😀
